Theatre Of Pain is my worst Crue album by far so chose 'Home Sweet Home' from a bad Lot.

Girls,Girls,Girls, was better, but still full of filler - 'Wildside' Gets my vote

Dr. Feelgood on the other hand is my Fave Crue album along with 'Too Fast' - Loads of great songs on here but 'Dr. Feelgood' the track gets it.

From Theatre Of Pain I went with Home Sweet Home.

From Girls, Girls, Girls I went with the title track.

Both of these albums were the weakest Crue albums for me.

From Dr. Feelgood (my favorite Crue album) I went with Kickstart My Heart. Something about this song makes me want to get in my car and just drive as fast as I can.

'Home sweet home' (though I just realised that although I like the album, there really aren't any good songs on it as I don't even like 'Home sweet home'... but I guess it's the best. :))

'You're all I need' (I hated passing up the awesome riff off 'Wildside', and I love the title track too... but man I have always loved that ballad! Awesome tune!!!)

'Kickstart my heart' (Very hard choice. Almost went the title track, and I love 'She goes down' and 'Sticky sweet' too. Awesome disc. :))

In my not-so-humble opinion, "Theatre of Pain" sucks, but I will admit to liking the sappy "Home Sweet Home" (does that make me a sap for sap? ).

For "Girls Girls Girls," the title track does it for me.

And from "Dr. Feelgood" comes my all-time favorite Motley song, "Kickstart My Heart." Been hooked at that tune ever since I first heard that huge "Whoa! Yeah!" chorus blasting from my college room-mate's stereo. :banger:

Sorry to resurrect this post, but I couldn't help voting here

1- "Tonight (We Need A Lover)" closely followed by "Keep Your Eye On The Money"

2- "Wild Side", closely followed by "You're All That I Need"

3- "Kickstart My Heart", closely followed by "Same 'Ol Situation"

So there's like no good songs in Thatre of Pain (but I had to select ne to vote), there's 2 good tracks on Girls and Dr. Feelgood kicks ass. Where's Shout at the Devil.... their best CD easily!!!

CBB - only cause I had to vote...this release is horrible and I think NS even admitted that in an interview once

Wild Side - wow, great tune; overall this release sux as well

Dr. Feelgood - great release; could have went with Kickstart or Don't Go Away Mad, love these lyrics:

My Friends Called Today

Down From L.A.

They Were Shooting Pool All Night

Sleeping Half The Day

They said I could crash

If I Could Find my Own Way

I Told Them You Were Leaving

On A Bus To Go Away

This was Motley Part III poll and I believe Shout was in a different Motley poll. Do a search in the Poll forum and you'll find it.

  • 2024 HH Donation Drive

Please support Heavy Harmonies! The donations goal is the out-of-pocket expenses to run the main site and this board for calendar year 2024.

    • Sorry my donation is small, but you know my circumstances Done It will be under name Andrew Sharp
    • Well... I mean... it's true.   Time once again to nag/beg/plead/insult (wait, what?) to help out covering Heavy Harmonies' expenses. Costs for the site run roughly US$195 a month, roughly the same as last several years.  So when I say "costs", what do I mean? It's the out-of-pocket expenses to keep Heavy Harmonies running: server lease, bandwidth, hosting support, and the subscription for this forum software, domain registration. The 2023 drive did pretty well, reaching 83% of goal of covering the annual costs. Let's see if we can meet, or better yet, beat that goal! The donation drive will run through Halloween, October 31.   Anyone who makes a single donation of $20 or more and has a board username will be added to the group "2024 Donors". This gets you the following benefits: A nice shiny icon in your profile showing that you are an HH Donor for 2024:  An increase in the size of your PM storage from 200 to 500 messages An increase in image attachment/upload storage from 20MB to 50MB Exempt from the search flood control (normally if you try and do a search more than every 10 seconds, you get an annoying little "please wait" message) No time limit on editing your own posts! This will especially be useful for those with trade/sale lists as you'll be able to edit them rather than posting revised versions. A warm fuzzy feeling inside that you are helping support Heavy Harmonies! If you donate $50 during the drive, either as a single donation or across multiple donations, you will be added to the group "2024 Gold Donors". This gets you the following in addition to the above: A bigger, shiny badge:  All your posts will be highlighted, because if you show this much dedication to HH, what you have to say is obviously more more important! (just kidding, but your posts will be accentuated). The ability to create a forum "signature" that will be added to all of your posts. If you donate using buttons on the main site, please put your board username in the notes section, and if you donate from here on the forum, please PM me the email address that you sent the donation from! Otherwise I have no way to tie your donation to your membership here on the board. If you are currently in the 2023 donor groups but don't wish to donate this year (or can't), at the beginning of the donation drive, your group membership features will revert to the regular non-donator membership group. Membership in the 2024 Donors group will last until the beginning of next year's donation drive, at which point you can donate again to remain in the Donors group with the same benefits, or revert back to your current member group. PayPal donation buttons are found at the top of all the pages on the main site and here on the forum on the right side at the top, or if you'd prefer to send a money order, check, or cash (not recommended, but I know some people prefer to do so), you can make payable to Dan Harding and send to: Heavy Harmonies P.O. Box 17021 Urbana, IL 61803 USA If you can't give $20, give $10... if you can't give $10, give $5... it's just once a year. (And if you happen to be fortunate enough to be earning gobs of money, please feel free to give bunches! I'm not opposed to having a sugar daddy... or seven.) As always, your support is greatly appreciated! -Dan
