Phukking love this album. I'll be honest, I've had this since it was released, it was the first Porcupine Tree album I bought, and I kinda stalled out there. It's just so good; do I even dare listening to another? Does any other album come close to Deadwing?

They have done some other great albums, but this is my favourite one too and the pick of the bunch

I am rating everything I own - CD, CDR & MP3. There have been painful patches, but it is definitely worth it. By the end of the process (and the end is in sight... I reckon sometime late next year) I will never have to listen to crap music again. I will have documented thoughts on what I think of everything I own, and I will never reach for a piece of shit wondering, "Hmmm, I forget what this sounds like. Let's try it out again."

 

The end result will see me stepping into the digital age (this is probably a few years down the line) and having a collection which consists purely of MP3s of songs I like - no fillers... just stuff I love.

 

It is a huge procedure, but one I am very happy to undertake. Today was;

 

Fastlane - Overdrive
Bang The Union - American Dream
Beau Coup - Born And Raised
Beautiful Creatures - Deuce
Blazed - Now The Party Starts
Blindstone - Manifesto
Bob Catley - The Tower
