I can't ever answer this.

I really loved Revolutionary Road.

Haven't seen it for decades, lol, but Frailty struck a chord with me too.

I dunno, there's a tonne of good movies which are great for completely different reasons, and never at the forefront of my mind, so tricky to answer.

I like the Godfather trilogy.

I never finished the trilogy. The third film has been sitting on my hard drive for close to ten years.

I think my favourite film is Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, but, like Geoff, it's difficult to answer this. I've seen a ton of movies, some of them were really good. It's hard to remember them all. I also love all three Star Wars films. The Empire Strikes Back being the best of them.

Mine are obscure and also a huge fan of foreign movies, they know how to make movies, Japanese and Italians mostly, anyone ever seen Flypaper from 1996, with Craig Shaffer, Robert Loggia, John C Mcginnly, and also Lucy Lues first movie, fucking love that flick, also my favs are Man Bites Dog, Salo, Cannibal Holocaust, Irreversible,Audition, Battle Royal, Taboo, and Take It Like A Man(Staring G-Off) in perhaps his most meat slapping performance.

Yeah, the majority of what comes out of Hollywood gets a pass from me. I like Indie, but most of what I watch are foreign films. Korean cinema is on fire right now, and, with Parasite receiving so much praise lately, it's about time it gets some recognition.

Yeah bro, you know most of the horror movies coming out of Hollywood since like 2000 are rip offs of Japanese movies and remakes of old American horror classics? Only they cut the balls off, fucking pathetic, Japanese know how to do horror, I've been meaning to check out some Korean flix, only think I've seen was that absolutely outstanding movie Men Behind The Sun, I think it was Korean,

Truu. I didn't know that at the time, 'cause I was too young and not into Horror. Not much originality out there anymore.

They not only remake them, but often times Japanese horror has over the top violence, and extremely disturbing endings and content, not the American remakes, they basically forego the disturbing and ultra violent shit, and change the ending to happy, and I don't mean a rub & tug happy ending, Eli Roth is really the only American doing decent horror.

Yeah, I watch a fair bit of anime, and a lot of that shit gets censored when it reaches the West.

Yeah but it's ok to show the Kardashians, that show alone is far more offensively then anything I've ever seen in any movie, that includes that feel good family night watcher A Serbian Film.

Really been meaning to see The Purge. Now that the footy was called off tonight, I might try to make a point to watch a movie every now and then in coming times.

I just started the Amazon Prime series last night. It's interesting.

I'm sure if you have Amazon Prime that you can watch Godfather Part III.

I think that you're just afraid to watch it.

    • New song "Endless' (Toto cover).
    • No official release yet so don't know when exactly the album is supposed to come out but I'm assuming it's this year. I'm sure you're all brimming with excitement.
    • I posed him that exact question on his discord page as to what his future plans are.... He said he plans to relax for a bit, do his You Tube thing, keep writing new music and then will decide how to release that music.  He said as of now he's thinking he'll either do a solo thing or form his own band.  He didn't say this but I'd sort of envision a Daughtry type "band" where he kind of puts a band behind his name. So essentially, I think you're right on with his plans.  Ultimately, I think like you say, the control is a big part of it.  I think he wants to be able to operate on his own schedule to maintain his health and family obligations. It'll be interesting to see what sound the new material takes on.  It would seem logical to think it would be rock/melodic rock of some sort since that's really the type of music he's built his following with but he certainly has shown he can dabble anywhere from AOR to metal.
    • Glad I got to see them with Erik in front. All the best to him, definitely looking forward to his future outings when he is fully recovered. Would be cool to see him form his own band, where he could take control, and play around in different genres, from full on metal, to soothing AOR, the guy is so versatile.
    • Remedy - Crying Heart. One I've just seen thanks to the Iridium channel.  From the upcoming album. It's a Killer.
    • Let's not forget Benny Hill. What a Magnificent show that was.
    • Yeah... I dunno about that. It would be too cringe. Who knows? If I'm high enough, I might submit a video.
    • Yep great track and if you fancy being in the video for "The Feeling" nows your chance.
    • I'm proud to say that I had this single when I was a mere 8 years old. KISS were big down here then. Norman Gunston is Iconic for Aussies of my vintage.  The face ln the bottom left says it all. Hilarious.
    • All in all, this is a great story. Erik played a brilliant, well received, albeit short cameo with one of our favourite bands.  It was a win, win, win. A win for us, a win for Skid Row (the album certainly put them back on the map) and a win for Erik, adding this to his already impressive resume. The fact that it was so amicable with both parties is also great to see.
