I'm more with Mafisen and Tabe on this one. Truth is, with better lyrics that would be a pretty killer hard rock tune. Even with those lyrics, it's still a keeper to me.

As much as I love Lessman and Bonfire with him in it, I would openly admit that the last few Bonfire albums without him have been far, far better than the last few Bonfire albums with him.

Listening to the album now. Off to a good start with h Gotta Get Away. To be updated.

Have to say I really like it. Could do without the intro and the instrumental interludes, but this album is the best of the Stahl era for me. Nothing new being invented, but it rocks plenty and the slower stuff is good too.

5 out of 6.

Bonfire had dropped off my radar the past decade (someone mentioned an album a year!!!).   This samples I've heard on the forth coming album have drawn my attention once again and hopefully, this is a refreshing new face for the band's music.    Definitely going to grab a copy of the new one

Like I said above, in my opinion their last few albums have been a lot better than the last few they recorded with Lessman. A lot of similar bands like Jaded Heart (only really recently- they have plenty of very good post-Borman albums) , Dynazty, Shakra, Crystal Ball etc. all hold no interest at all to me anymore, but Bonfire seem to be keeping the dream alive to a degree. It's not startling stuff, but I heard this yesterday and it sounds like another good slab of no nonsense melodic heavy rock. Good stuff.

I'd agree with those thoughts.  Similar to the last album they've included a few tracks that lean a little more to the melodic metal side of the spectrum.  Other than some so-so lyrical content the album is solid throughout.  My initial favorites are Gotta Get Away, Ride the Blade, and Breaking Out.

I wonder if this means a return to the project's original synthwave style?

    • New song 'Siren Song'. From Frontiers: Seventh Crystal, who stormed on the melodic rock scene in 2021 since their stunning debut album "Delirium", have announced the release of their third full-length, "Entity". Seventh Crystal took everything up a major level (or two, really), "Entity" sees the bands exploring and expanding different genres, bringing their melodic rock formula, to progressive rock fields, sometimes little heavier and back to their unique rock style. Seventh Crystal is a melodic hard rock band from Gothenburg formed by Kristian Fyhr in 2019. What started as a solo project by Kristian quickly grew into a larger endeavor when Johan Älvsång and Olof Gadd joined the project. Shortly after, Anton Roos and Emil Dornerus also joined the band, completing the initial lineup. In 2020 the band signed a deal with Frontiers Records and released their debut album "Delirium" in 2021, which made waves all around the world. Due to the guitar-heavy parts on the album, the band realized they needed one more guitarist to be able to perform the songs live. Gustav Linde, an old friend of Anton Roos, took on the job, and the band began to work on their slightly more guitar-oriented follow-up album "Wonderland." The album "Wonderland" was released in 2023 alongside the EP "Infinity," establishing the band as an act to be reckoned with. During the fall, Johan Älvsång decided to step aside, and the band continued as a five-piece into the recordings of a third album. Drawing inspiration from a variety of genres, from soft rock to hard-hitting heavy metal, Seventh Crystal showcases a diverse range of musical expression. The band aims to be authentic and serve as an inspiration, outlet, and escape for their audience. Their sound is characterized by bombastic productions, catchy hooks, and dramatic and emotional melodies. TRACKLIST: 1. Oathbreaker 2. Thirteen to One 3. 404 4. Path of the Absurd 5. Architects of Light 6. Interlude 7. Blinded by the Light 8. Siren Song 9. Versus 10. Mayflower 11. Push Comes to Shove 12. A Place Called Home 13. Song Of The Brave
    • The latest band featured is "Y&T". This is a good one, as always with channel.  On a side note, I'm just thinking that there aren’t too many bands that have a Lead Singer that is also the Lead Guitarist.
    • Featuring Ben Christo, Joe Elliot and Billy Duffy
