Sounds exactly like I expected - very nice but fairly predictable.

But I don't want "unexpected" from these bands, Iwant them to sound like "them". So, for this song I like it.

'Snakes' is one great song, but maybe only an 8.5 rated track?

Hopefully this album was packed with more punchy and less-commercial tracks

 

"Less-commercial?" You want Crazy Lixx to release a pile of hook-free crap? Might I asky why? What type of rubbishy stuff do you want from them??

 

If you want "less-commercial," I suggest Crazy Lixx might not be the band/artist for you. ;)

Yeah odd comment....i thought everyone craved New Religion which was when they sounded the most commercial.

 

Maybe he means the song is quite 'safe' and wants them to let rip a bit more.....whilst still being melodic.

What i meant was its sounds the same as 10 of their other songs which not really what i want if im being honest.

But if the band in question has a particular style its maybe hard for them to move away from that? I know that there are many acts that we have all mentioned in the past that changed their style at a time and got slated for it,so its perhaps not a bad thing to be should we say "familiar" :)

Due to a payment dispute with the original mixing engineer we have been forbidden to use the previous mix of the song XIII. Having no other options within the given time frame, we decided to just do a mix ourselves, using our state of the art Atari based studio software. So here it is - Enjoy and spread the word! Yeah, it still sounds good. I really dig the sax solos btw. :)

      I have been a Band Maid fan since their early days (2015) as I really don't mind foreign vocals as long as the music is great, but I always kinda avoided Babymetal as I saw a video of them once and really wasn't impressed with the kiddy vocals, so never gave them another chance. Fast forward to now and on the back of the collab with Electric Callboy I have decided to give them a go. I thought they had a huge discography as they have like 25 albums, but on closer inspection it is only four studio albums and 21 live albums. As I am not a fan of live albums anyway, I decided to buy the four studio albums as they are all quite cheap. Have to say there music is a mixed bag, but overall really enjoying a lot of it. Not sure if I just picked the wrong song to start with, or if it is just that I have adapted more due to getting into a lot of weird and wonderful foreign bands over the last few years, but I am glad I finally gave them a proper go. Have to say, if this song was sung in English I think they would have a lot of fans on here

      Another i'm still awaiting the arrival of...same day release/delivery my arse Amazon  Still this is sounding like their best release thus far...they are gaining and getting better...although I did enjoy the last few albums also...but the sound/production from this one is excellent.
