  5. From FB: We're absolutely thrilled to tell you guys that Creye has now officially signed a multiple records contract to major label Frontiers Music srl. From Frontiers: BREAKING NEWS: Frontiers Music Srl is pleased to announce the signing of one of the most exciting AOR newcomers to the scene, CREYE! Hailing from Sweden (of course!), Creye was founded by Grand Slam guitarist Andreas Gullstrand. The band recently released a debut EP which shows enormous potential and immediately sparked interest from Frontiers. With soaring vocals and harmonies and melodies that seem to have been taken straight from the 80’s masterpieces of AOR music, Creye are here to stay and the multi-album deal signed with leading Italian rock label Frontiers Music Srl will help them pursue the goals they are determined and very serious to achieve for their career. “We were very picky when it came to choosing a suitable label for us,” says Andreas. “The options were many, but at the end of the day we were looking for a label with muscles big enough to help us get to the next level. When the question arose from Frontiers, it immediately felt like this was exactly the kind of label that we were searching for!” CREYE debuted in late 2016 with the single "Never Too Late," which caused some stir in the AOR scene with outstanding reviews and immediate talk of the “next big thing” to come out of Sweden. Andreas worked hard to recruit a strong line-up of full-time members as well as continuing to put together new material. In March 2017, the 3 song EP, "Straight To The Top" was released by the band, showing off a much more mature and evolved sound. And finally, in May 2017 vocalist Robin Jidhed (son of ALIEN singer, Jim) joined the band and thereby added the final piece to the puzzle. This is just the beginning and you can be sure that CREYE will definitely live up to the initial hype! If you are into bands such as Work of Art, Art Nation, One Desire, and early H.E.A.T, then this band is for you. If you have not yet had the chance to review them, hit the play button below NOW and have a listen to “Never Too Late,” a feel good, breezy uptempo AOR track which can only put a big fat smile on your face: CREYE is: Vocals - Robin Jidhed Lead Guitar - Andreas Gullstrand Rythm Guitar - Fredrik Joakimsson Bass - Gustaf Örsta Keyboards - Joel Rönning Drums - Arvid Filipsson www.creyesweden.com

  7. Press release: NEW SONG & VIDEO ALERT: Famed Producer & Songwriter Clif MagnessAnnounces New Solo Album, LUCKY DOG! Releases First Single & Video, "Ain't No Way"! +Pre-order here: http://radi.al/LuckyDog In the early '90s, melodic rock had more or less left the mainstream and become an underground affair championed by a group of small indie labels in Europe. But, in 1994, one spectacular release appeared on the scene from a singer/ songwriter named Clif Magness, entitled “Solo” that managed to collect truly rave reviews from all over the world (yes, even in a time when melodic rock was considered dead and gone). “After receiving numerous requests from fans all over the world, I am excited to announce that I’m teaming up with Frontiers and releasing a new solo album,” says Clif. “Very cool to be working with Frontiers and after too long, on my own project. Years have passed since my last solo effort, but the truth is, I am, at the heart of things, a journeyman songwriter, and producer for others, and still am. But I have had an awesome time stepping out and putting together this record.“ Clif continues, “Some very loyal Melodic Rock, Planet 3 and Clif Magness fans worldwide have been asking me to record a follow up to “Solo” for a few years now. I contacted a couple of long time collaborators of mine, Mark Mueller , Jennifer Grais and Brock Walsh to write some new songs. I also included a new writer named Sherrie Adams. During the writing process, I contacted the esteemed vocalist Robin Beck. Robin recorded a song I wrote with Steve Kipner called “Footprints In The Rain” years ago, I’m a huge fan of her work! With Sherrie, we wrote “Love Needs A Heart” and recorded it as a duet”. The first song/video, “Ain’t No Way” was written with Mark Mueller who also wrote “If We Can’t Do It” with Clif on “Solo”. Clif says, “Mark has a great lyrical talent, especially in the “kick ass” context. I think kicking off an album with a barn burner is important. Also it has the theme of self-empowerment”. “I’ve always been interested in the recording process. I literally had a mixer and two tape recorders in my bedroom when I was thirteen. That is to say that my studio is now at my home where I write, produce, engineer and perform all of the instruments and mix. Soup to nuts! Whenever I can, I ask Josh Freese to perform the drum tracks. And on “Lucky Dog”, my son Evan performed many of the guitar tracks," explains Clif. But who is Clif Magness? Well, he certainly needs no introduction for music fanatics who have devoted much of their time over the years to reading the credits in album liners. By the time the "Solo" record came out, he already made a name for himself co-writing and producing a #1 hit with Jack Wagner (“All I Need”), a top 5 hit for Wilson Phillips (“Impulsive”), and winning a Recording Academy / GRAMMY for the song “The Places You Find Love” from Quincy Jones‘ critically acclaimed album, “Back On The Block”. Just three years later, in 1993, Clif was nominated for an Oscar and a Golden Globes Award for the song “The Day I Fall In Love” from the film “Beethoven’s 2nd”, co-written with Carole Bayer Sager and James Ingram. Throughout the 1990s and into 2000, Clif continued to work with outstanding artists such as Céline Dion, Hanson, Steve Perry, Amy Grant, and Joe Bonamassa, among others. Clif was also instrumental in developing perhaps the biggest breakout artist of 2003, Avril Lavigne. Being among the first writer/producers to work with Avril, Clif’s writing and production style became the benchmark for the album. Clif co- wrote and produced the fourth, much edgier, Avril Lavigne single “Losing Grip,” as well as five other tracks from her multi-platinum debut “Let Go.” Of course he has kept on working and creating some great and hugely successful music for many singers in the past few years, including Kelly Clarkson, Vanessa Amorosi, Tyler Hilton, Robin Beck, Marie Digby, Julia Michaels, and many others. Frontiers Music Srl is truly honored and excited to welcome such a huge talent to the label and firmly believes this will continue their unapproachable track record of bringing AOR fans music they are more than happy to hear. The new release will follow in the footsteps of “Solo”, with an updated production and sound befitting of the 21st century. cliftonmagness.com TRACKLISTING: 1. Ain’t No Way 2. Don’t Look Now 3. 8. BREAKING NEWS: Frontiers Music Srl welcomes AOR cult heroes Fortune to the label for the release of a new studio album in early 2019! Mick Fortune says, "[w]e are looking forward to working with Frontiers in both a recording and a touring capacity! Exciting times ahead!" Fortune’s lineup is comprised of: Mick Fortune (drums) Richard Fortune (guitar) Larry Greene (vocals) Ricky Rat (bass) Mark Nilan (keyboards) The seeds of Fortune were planted by brothers Richard and Mick Fortune, who came from a family of professional musicians; their mother was a singer and their father a singer and bassist. Richard started playing the guitar when he was 16, and went on to play guitar and tour with Buddy Miles, Booker T & The MGs and Spirit, while Mick started out as an accordion, keyboard, and trombone player before switching to drums. The brothers cut an album, "Fortune" for Warner Brothers in 1978, but by 1982 had totally revamped the group with a new key acquisition being the recruitment of Roger Scott Craig. A classically trained pianist from the age of 8, the Irish born keyboard player was known for a successful stint with the Scouse pop group Liverpool Express in the '70s. With a lineup rounded out by Larry 'L.A.' Greene, also of Top Gun soundtrack fame, on vocals, and Detroit studio and Elton John bassist Bob Birch, Fortune eventually released their self-titled debut album in 1985 to a warm reception, especially in Japan and Europe. Camel/MCA Records (the same label that had launched Night Ranger and Giuffria to stardom) released the debut and it is still highly regarded today by fans of the genre. For many fans of the genre, it is indeed considered one of the best, if not THE best AOR albums of all-time. While this is of course very much open to debate, the reality is that Fortune’s album is one of those lost gems from yesteryear that has aged like fine wine while the years have passed. Shortly after that legendary self-titled album's release, Camel Records unexpectedly declared bankruptcy for undisclosed reasons and refused to give up the masters of the album, making an album re-release impossible until fairly recently. The band remained silent for years and while Larry Greene and Roger Scott Craig started working together with the band Harlan Cage (who released several albums in the second half of the 90’s and early 00’s), the Fortune brothers started the band back up again as a trio in 2006, until a proper band reunion happened in 2016 when the band performed at the Rockingham Music Festival in 2016 and then - thanks to the acclaim that followed that performance - in 2017 as well. These appearances ultimately led to discussions with Frontiers about a new studio album. Follow the band on Facebook here:https://www.facebook.com/fortunerockers
  9. Press release from Frontiers Music: Formed at the dawn of the 90’s, Unruly Child Band debuted with their self-titled release on Interscope/Atlantic in 1992. The original lineup featured singer Marcie Michelle Free (a/k/a Mark Free, vocalist - Official King Kobra, Signal), Bruce Gowdy (guitarist – Stone Fury, World Trade), and Guy Allison (keyboardist – Lodgic, World Trade, The Doobie Brothers) together with drummer - Jay Schellen (Hurricane, World Trade, Original Asia), and bassist - Larry Antonino (Pablo Cruise, Air Supply Music). The record is still regarded as one of the musical highlights of its era with soaring vocals and fabulous musicianship combined with a unique take on melodic hard rock with a slight progressive edge. After two more critically acclaimed studio recordings, the band reunited the original line-up in 2010 and is now getting ready for a new return with the recording of a brand new album and more surprises, including a new live DVD and a limited box set release which will encompass all the band’s releases from 1998 until now (including four original studio albums and a CD/DVD of demos recorded for the debut album). Guy Allison says, "The reaction to our release of Worlds Collide and to our live appearance at FireFest has had a huge impact on us. The positive feedback from the Unruly Child fans has always been a catalyst and driving force for our creativity - but we didn't quite expect so much love from the UC collective. So now we want to take everything we've learned, everything we've done, and distill it into the quintessential, bad ass, "take no prisoners", best Unruly Child record - EVER! We're shooting for epic.” Marcie Michelle Free adds, “Age - is only a number and a state of being. But beyond the physical plane time has no meaning. That is where one usually finds me. With that and in thinking about the opportunity before us, I must say that it is very exciting to think of the prospects. A new record, a new day, and a new beginning. Our last record with Frontiers [Worlds Collide] in 2010 was a huge success. But our focus of late has been on the past and by looking back we’re actually looking ahead bringing with us all that we have learned along the way. Unruly Child was born out of all that we were up to the time of the present in our past. Our future is eternal. Knowing that, feeling that, touching that, is something we all want and need. Gee… isn’t masturbation the bomb?” Bruce Gowdy concludes, “I’m excited to work on a new Unruly Child Album, it's going to be great! We've always, as a group, had the best times working together, and now a new album and shows planned... Wow ! We're very excited about the future of Unruly Child. Please spread the news.” The recording sessions for the new album have started already with the label looking at releasing the new record in early 2017. www.unrulychild.net FB
  10. Press release: BREAKING NEWS: Frontiers Music Srl is pleased to announce the signing of Kane Roberts to the label for the release of his next solo album, sometime in 2017. Kane says, “[o]nce you strap on a guitar and make the hard coded decision to play music in the face of everything you know and don’t know, you find that “the life” (of a musician) has its way with you no matter what and WILL tear you up if you try and wander too far away. I may have stepped into other enterprises and projects, but I was never far from the jet stream that I was lucky enough to have been a part of in the 80s and 90s. Now, because of the new songs inside of me, my guitar and the fans I’m in contact with, I know the creative fire will burn me down if I don’t step back inside the flames. I believe the people at Frontiers Music Srl also feel that creative heat, the need to be an integral part of the music industry (their output is resoundingly prolific) and I don’t know of a better place for me to record and release my new album. Over the last few years the songs, the messages, and the fans have been burning a hole on my insides. This new album has been gearing up for a while and the songs and messages I’ll be forging will emerge from the fire. Sorry it took me so long, all kinds of life happened that will definitely find it’s way onto the record and yeah, I’m gonna hit this one hard." Kane has recorded a total of four solo albums so far (also including the Phoenix Down project released on Frontiers in the late 90’s). Kane’s name and abilities first came to prominence on Alice Cooper’s “Constrictor” album, which was soon followed by his self-titled debut solo album in 1987. More albums and tours with Alice followed, making Kane a well known face in the business especially for his guitar skills, but also for his body-builder image and his now iconic machine-gun guitar. As a solo recording artist, he has landed a few Top 40 hits and his varied musical background includes recording, writing and touring with artists such as Rod Stewart, Alice Cooper, Desmond Child, KISS, Diane Warren, Alice in Chains, Berlin, Guns N' Roses, Garland Jeffries and more. He’s also written or recorded music for films like Light Sleeper, Penelope Spheeris’ Decline of Western Civilization, Friday the 13th IV Jason Lives, John Carpenter’s Prince of Darkness, and more. In 1991, his second solo album, “Saints and Sinners” for Geffen Records included the Top 40 Billboard hit “Does Anybody Really Fall In Love Anymore?”, originally written by Jon Bon Joviand Richie Sambora. 11. NEW SONG & VIDEO ALERT: Not only will the Michael Thompson Band be appearing at Frontiers Rock Festival this April 28-29th for their first live performance in Europe, but they are also working on a new studio album! Today, we are pleased to offer you a preview of the new music they are working on with the song, "'72 Camaro"!Enjoy! This video was filmed when Craig Bauer (mixing engineer) was approached by Hear Technologies with the idea of capturing video of a recording session in Sphere Studios, owned by Francesco Camelli (tracking engineer), in LA. They wanted well known, reputable musicians in the video since it was ultimately going to be used at their booth at the NAMM Show. Craig approached Michael Thompson and Larry King, who are in the middle of the recording new albums from Michael Thompson Band and Soleil Moonand they were more than happy to call in some friends to be the subjects for the video with them. So Vinnie Colaiuta, Leland Sklar - Bassist, andRicky Peterson came in and now you have this video to watch! “We will see if and how we will use this song later on,” says singer Larry King, “but in the meantime we wanted the fans to be able to properly enjoy this song in preparation of the band’s performance at the Frontiers' Festival. We hope you can enjoy this and see you soon in Italy!” Follow their page here:https://www.facebook.com/MichaelThompsonBand
  12. Press release: BREAKING NEWS: Frontiers Music Srl is pleased to announce the release of the highly anticipated new studio album from PRIDE OF LIONS, FEARLESS on January 27, 2017. When Frontiers released Pride Of Lions’ groundbreaking first album in 2003, many people asked, “Is this one of those project bands that do one or two albums and then disappear - or a real band with staying power?” Now, in the year 2017 the answer to that question will be very clear as the band release their FIFTH studio album, FEARLESS! Additionally, their best selling “Live In Belgium” album and video proves to the world that Jim Peterik and Toby Hitchcock and the powerful Pride Of Lions band is not just a studio concoction, but a live force to be reckoned with, headlining shows in America and Europe. “We are always trying to top ourselves,” states singer/ songwriter/ guitarist Jim Peterik. “This time I went back and listened closely to all the previous albums to hear the strongest assets of each record: what was working and what could be improved. I went into writing the FEARLESS material keeping that in mind. I feel it sticks closer to the template we set with our first release, yet goes to new places musically as well like using a Kansas- style fiddle- played by Andrew Ohlrich- on the video/single “All I See is You”." The songs and performances on FEARLESS are...well... truly fearless. The title track blazes from the speakers gaining steam with every chorus. “Take the highest ground- stand and fight- you gotta be harder- you gotta be tougher- you gotta be- fearless!” This could be the new battle cry for Rocky Balboa or any common man needing to make a difference in the world. “When I got together with Jim in Chicago to record, things just caught fire,” enthuses Toby. “I sang 12 vocals in two days! That’s how inspired I was with the new material.” “Toby hit new heights on this one,” raves Jim. “I was sitting behind the recording console with Larry Millas just one big goose bump as Toby glided from hard rockers like “Rising Up”, classic melodic rock like “All I See Is You” to a heartfelt ode to timeless love- “Everlasting Love.” Future classics include “The Tell”, where the main character is giving off signals she may not even realize to the mesmerizing magic of “Silent Music” (“I can’t help it if I talk funny- I can’t express the way I feel in spoken words- hold on”) to the mysterious “Freedom of the Night”. That last one was written with former Jimi Jamison keyboardist Hal Butler and the lyric, chord changes and melody seem to channel what Jimi might now be singing if his life had not been tragically cut short. “The last track is one of my faves,” states Toby Hitchcock. “I think we all can relate to the often painful process of figuring out just who we are and how we fit on this planet. “Unmasking the Mystery” is not something that happens all at once- it happens over time and on our last day we still won’t have all the answers.” The album will be supported by live dates- in the States and abroad with the first show on January 28th as a part of Jim Peterik’s World Stage at Wentz Hall in Naperville, Illinois. In early 2017, expect the premiere of the music video for “All I See Is You” directed by Greg Bizzarro. Greg has directed every POL video thus far, as well as the popular “Cold Blooded” video by Peterik / Scherer which starred Leann Marie of “I Can’t Hold Back” video fame. So crank it up! The louder the better, after all “You gotta be fearless!!!” FEARLESS tracklisting: 1. All I See Is You! 2. The Tell 3. In Caricature 4. Silent Music 5. Fearless 6. Everlasting Love 7. 13. Press release: Frontiers Music Srl is excited to announce a new band that just joined the label roster: THE DEFIANTS! Behind this new band is a trio of fabulous musicians all with ties to Danger Danger. On vocals and guitar, is none other than Mr. Paul Laine! Best known for being the D2 singer for 12 years, Paul is now coming back to work with his former bandmates Bruno Ravel and Rob Marcello, who are the other two pillars of The DEFIANTS. “Very, very excited about this new project, and to be working again with my ol’ pal Paul Laine, and of course, Rob Marcello!” says Bruno Ravel, who will also produce the debut album. “The writing process has been a lot of fun. We all trust and respect each other’s instincts so there’s little second guessing and that takes a lot of the usual stress out of the equation, so for me, this has been a blast so far. We will be entering the studio in the next few weeks to start recording, with completion set for the end of the year. So…what should you expect,? Well, expect some straight ahead “in your face” melodic hard rock, that’s what!” Paul Laine says: “I’m very happy to once again, create something special with Bruno and Rob. Although it’s a brand new release, I feel It's a great opportunity to say thank you and do something for the fans who have followed us through the years. Bruno and Rob are immense talents. I feel honored to be a part of this and have my voice on this album.” Rob Marcello concludes “Beyond psyched to work with my best friend Bruno and Paul on this project! It’s going to be a great one! Can’t wait for you to hear it!" Check out The DEFIANTS and “Like” their Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Defiants/1113095098705750 The band will be documenting the recording process and uploading studio clips and song samples on their FB page as the album takes shape. Expect the album to hit the stores in late Spring / early Summer 2016. Edit: Adding these April 4th, 2016 (to help newcomers):

  15. From Frontiers: We are thrilled to welcome Memphis’ very own Tora Tora to the Frontiers’ family! The band will commence recording a new studio album in 2018 for a tentative release in early 2019! Tora Tora’s mixture of hard rock with their hometown’s legendary blues style put them in a class of their own and we were thrilled to find the band was open to creating new music. We can’t wait to hear what they have in the works for their new studio album! Says vocalist Anthony Corder, “TORA TORA is proud to announce we have signed with Frontiers! With a rich musical heritage and focus on quality content, we feel their company culture is the perfect fit for our project. We are excited to join some of our favorite artists and friends on their international roster. Thank you to Serafino Perugino, Mario De Riso, and Nick Tieder and our entire Frontiers’ family for this opportunity. We are looking forward to creating some great music and many good memories with all of you!” Comments guitarist Keith Douglas, “When we first started talking about a new Tora Tora project, the biggest question for us was what it would sound like after so much time had passed since we'd written together. After just one day of collaborating, it was clear we were going to pick up right where we left off so many years ago. We have some really good songs already written as well as a ton of other cool ideas to get sorted out. Having creative freedom is a huge bonus for us. As far as the direction, it's just going to be whatever comes out. But I can tell you what has come out so far rocks as hard as anything we've ever done and lets our Memphis roots shine through. We are very excited to be working on what we feel like is going to be a very special record and just as excited to be working with Frontiers Records. Stay tuned!" https://www.facebook.com/ToraToraBand/
  16. New album out October 14th on Frontiers Music. From FB: We're ready! Turn up the volume this fall....our fifth album is "HUMAN NATURE"
  17. Debut album out March 23 on Frontiers. Press release: NO HOT ASHES are a melodic rock group who formed in early ‘80’s Belfast. The rock scene of those days was a welcome alternative to the violence that was happening on the streets and ‘The Ashes’ became local favourites releasing one single independently. They signed to GWR Records in 1988, with a line-up featuring original members Dave Irvine on guitar and Paul Boyd on bass, joined by new singer Tommy Quinn on vocals, Tommy Dickson on keyboards and Steve Strange on drums. Moving to London and supporting the likes of Mama’s Boys and Magnum it seemed their star was rising but problems with getting their debut album released brought dissolution and one-by-one band members returned to Northern Ireland. By the end of 1990 ‘The Ashes’ fire went out and they called it a day. Burn through the years to September 2013 and NO HOT ASHES are given two reasons to reform. One was to play a tribute gig for Belfast’s famous Rosetta Bar, the centre for Northern Ireland’s rock and metal scene from the early 80’s, which had recently closed. The other was to remember old rock friends no longer with them. The Rosie, as it was affectionately known, was a venue very dear to The Ashes hearts as their club night ‘Cinders’ was started by their old manager Stephen Magee, a mad PR genius who passed way before his time. They enjoyed playing again so much… they couldn’t stop and since the beginning of 2014 they’ve supported Aerosmith, Foreigner, FM and UFO. Playing Hard Rock Hell AOR, Download, London Calling, Ramblin' Man and Steelhouse festivals and most recently Rockingham! They still sound and feel like a classic 80’s rock band and after tracking new demos, the band sent the material to Frontiers who loved what they heard (strongly rooted in the classic tradition of British Melodic Rock à la FM, Heartland, Def Leppard and Bon Jovi) and signed them for the release of a new record. “There's less hair but more rock,” said Davey Irvine. “And it’s great to get back with the guys after all these years. I'm really enjoying writing the new material and I think we've all aged well musically.” And, as original singer Eamon Nancarrow points out: “With NO HOT ASHES I have always felt that we had some unfinished business. What I want from this reunion, and the up and coming gigs is to prove we could have made it given the breaks. Oh yeah and to show my kids that their Dad rocks!” With old crowd favorites such as “I’m Back” and “Summer Rain” in the set, the Ashes have also been writing new material, such as the epic ballad ‘Boulders’ and the all out rocker ‘Glow’ which will set fire to the new record. For drummer Steve Strange, the only member to have carved a successful career in the music industry, it is the songs that make this adventure worthwhile: “These tunes have stayed in my head since we split up and I’ve always felt they needed to be heard by a wider audience. When the band clicked at first rehearsal it made sense to see how far we could take this.” All members in the current line¬ up below have played a significant part in the band’s history with Dave Irvine being the only member to have been in all manifestations. NO HOT ASHES are Dave Irvine on guitar, Nial Diver on guitar, Paul Boyd on Bass, Steve Strange on drums, Tommy Dickson on keyboards, along with the original singer Eamon Nancarrow. 22. From Frontiers: OUT OF THE PRIMORDIAL OOZE comes DOOMSDAY OUTLAW! A ten-legged armageddon machine rolling out of darkest Derbyshire, spitting heavy riffs and heavier grooves in all directions. Tales of hope and despair to bang your head to and lose your voice singing along. Their released their album "Suffer More" independently in May 2016 to widespread acclaim (see below) and then set about perfecting their live show. Effortlessly mixing heavy blues stomp with a melancholy tuneful edge, they recall Clutch, The Temperance Movement, Blackberry Smoke, Screaming Trees, and Led Zeppelin, just to name a few. This album, "Suffer More" was the one that put the band to the attention of Frontiers and led to the label signing the band for the album “Hard Times”, released in May 2018 to more worldwide acclaim! Frontiers is now reissuing "Suffer More" so even more rock 'n roll fans can hear what all the buzz is about. A selection of reviews for the SUFFER MORE album: "Brilliant" - BBC Introducing "A tour de force." - TBFM - 10/10 "Massive, swaggering groove." - Maximum Volume - 9.5/10 "Oozes class and swagger and style." - The Midlands Rocks - 9/10 "Doomsday Outlaw’ could well be the best independent rock band in the UK at the moment." - The Rockpit (AUSTRALIA) - 4/5 "Wouldn’t sound out of place headlining a major festival." - Altcorner - 8/10 Tracklisting: 1.
