Havent scanned back but has a new Ted Poley solo album been mentioned.

Saw that in a thread on FB today which took me by surprise.

Very nice if true

I don't think it was mentioned, but I think it was Andrew(melodicrock.com) that mentioned it on Facebook.

It wasn't mentioned, but it was mentioned? I'm confused.

NOT mentioned HERE, but mentioned by Andrew on Facebook. Understand now?

I never do.

I believe it!!!

Without too much fuss and fanfare, Sunstorm actually have one of the best, most consistent discographies of any recent band, imo. Excellent stuff - can't wait for the new one.

The debut was great, the second was good, the third was OK.

Just what I was thinking,..I hope the new one doesn't follow that path, otherwise we have a problem ;)

Well if it's 'melodic metal' it will, and it will be shite.

But i'll reserve judgement until we have samples.

Afterall, Treat seem to have delivered despite some dodgy commentary about 70s music :)

I can't concur more with this, buddy. But those raibow/purple fans are everywhere apparently, like those neutrinos. I was planning last summer to visit Bulgaria for a JLT gig, but, to my sadness,I learnt his playlist and I just couldn't believe it. Only rainbow/purple tracks. And not only from his records. He even played "smoke on the water...":rant::rant::screwy::crazy::blink:

And supposedly fans from these bands can't stand him...

Looks interesting!

So it's just a compilation album? It's a cool concept, but it doesn't sound essential. Especially if you already own some of the albums they're feature.

And if like me you don't own many of the albums from which these songs originated, it might be more of interest.

Don't get me wrong, I still think it's a cool idea, but I could probably make most of it as a playlist with the albums I have.
