I dont know about Rob Moratti... Such a great voice... but i never find myself reaching for his previous album - i can never remember the songs on it.

Kissin dynamite is the pick of the bunch.

Crazy Lixx live? ergh

Crystal Ball with the same new singer? ergh

We don't need Little Caesar live, but I guess we really don't need any live album with a few exceptions - Live After Death, Five Man Acoustical Jam, Alive I & II, World Wide Live, Frampton, etc

American Dream was a great album

Let's see if Q5 manage to ruin their "legend". Hilarious album title, btw.

No need for live albums with few exceptions like: High Live, Hell On Stage, Attack Of The Viking Chief, Staying a Life, Concerto Suite Live with Japan Philharmonic, Lingua Mortis, A Pleasant Shade of Gray - Live etc.

let me just simplify it to 'you don't need any live albums from the last 30 years'

[except Threshold - Critical Mass]

There was something about live albums from back in the day that just made them special. Not sure what, but certainly nearly everything live album in recent times is just not needed.

Excellent live albums that I still listen to -

Black Sabbath - Live Evil

Iron Maiden - Live After Death

Thin Lizzy - Live & Dangerous

Kiss - Alive II

Journey - Captured/Live in Houston

Whitesnake - Live In The Heart

REO - Get What u Play For

Motorhead - No Sleep

Triumph - Stages

The Moratti album is the only one of the latest bunch I'm looking forward to at all.

The Hinder acoustic album is equally pointless as all these live albums.

Ugh.... with these LIVE albums. I really HATE live albums!

Crazy Lixx LIVE? I heard he is horrible singer live.

And do we really need Little Caesar live????

I'm with you. I have about a dozen live albums from the 70's,80's 90's(KISS,Maiden,Scorpions etc) but that is it for me.

That live Ozzy album with Randy Rhodes in it is a good one. Can't remember what it's called but everyone has it and it has Ozzy lifting Randy up on the cover.

There are a few more as mentioned that are worth having around.

I think the Rush All the Worlds A Stage is crucial, as is the epic Judas Priest Unleashed in the East.

Nuggets Double Live Gonzo

Johnny Cash Live At San Quinten

There is an Upper Crust live album entitled Entitled which gets a good amount of rotation.

Could be interesting if the sound quality is good. I fear that if it's on F n A Records it's sound like balls in a grinder.

I don't like dealing with F n A records but I do want that release, so if it sounds decent I will have to pick it up...
