Oh Vega and Wigelius in the same year, plus whatever else I'm super excited about (can't remember the others eclipsed by these two). Great news. Actually, also, who else is friends with Jules from White Widdow on Facebook?

One of the only things I've read on Facebook all year. Sorry if this is printed elsewhere on the forum:

WHITE WIDDOW RE-SIGN WITH AOR HEAVEN FOR NEW ALBUM IN 2016!
The Australian Melodic Hard Rock band WHITE WIDDOW, after releasing three critically acclaimed albums to date, are very pleased to announce that they have re-signed to the German based AOR Heaven label for a Worldwide release of their forth album in 2016. AOR Heaven label boss Georg Siegl had this to say - "It’s a pleasure to continue working with the "boys from down under“. They have delivered 3 high quality albums in a row and I don’t have any doubts that album #4 will be another cracker. Jules and his gang are an easy going bunch and they’re the prime example for what AOR Heaven stands for !" .The new album will follow their tried and true formula of 80's style Arena AOR and is set for a mid 2016 release. White Widdow frontman Jules Millis had this to add - "We're very happy to re-sign with Georg and the team at AOR Heaven for our fourth album, they have believed in us since the start and they truly love AOR/Melodic Rock as music as much as we do, so we're excited to serve up another album full of 1985 style Arena AOR in 2016!!

These are the others im interested in....hardly eclipsed

Toby Hitchcock

first Signal

HEAT

Treat

Harem Scarem

Pretty Maids

Ammunition

Im also really interested to see what Dan Reed Network come up with

And of course there is the second Tremonti album to follow his beast from 2015.

All these added to Wigelius and Vega could make up my top 10 but really hoping for a few surprises along the way too.

Is Erik involved in the Toby H. again?

Yeah, I agree with the rest of the list (I'm sure the Ammunition album will be better this time around) but that Hitchcock CD is still a huge question mark. If Martensson doesn't do the whole thing again, I think there's a 99% chance it'll suck dog balls. It's essential to know who's running that show before putting it in lists with company like that.

For Geoff:

NEW STEEL PANTHER CD in 2016!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately, it's a live unplugged disc it appears.... coming out Feb. 2016.

Well that's terrible news. But I wonder if they do have a new proper album due next year. They're certainly due. I was actually thinking about them the other day with all these lists of new releases due, wondering where there one was.

The treatment could be good. Nothing To lose and the Doctor were great tracks. A couple of other nice tunes on the same album.

Looking forward to Jack Russel's Great White - The Gauntlet

Oh, Faith Circus is great news. Loved that last album, and the first one's nice too. Really looking forward to that one.

And Rage of Angels? Really? As in the guys who released their one and only CD in 1989? Christian freaks...

Just saw about the Cheap Trick. Made my morning.

Really want to see them live.

Saw them live at the start of the year for the first time. Really let me down. Didn't play many of their Australian hit which was strange. Didn't even play The Flame.

They played at a concert as a winery.

Choirboys - were as good as ever

The Angels - were amazing with Dave Gleason fronting them after Doc's death. Hit every note and kicked total ass. 100 times better than I expected.

Cheap Trick - came and went with nobody really caring, which was sad.

Billy Idol - played an amazing set. Blew me away actually. See him if he visits your city. Surprised at the amount of hits he had. New song sounded great as well.

No Rage of Angels from a year or 2 ago...you know, pretty decent but no track under 6 minutes ;-)

Femmefataleomfgwtf???? Are you serious? What on earth's going on there? Obviously, it is just the lead singer doing a new solo thing? Obviously, I say, because her entire original band were all dudes, and now they're all ladiez. WTF? Zomfg... I wonder what this one will sound like.
