Bonfire's best songs definitely do not need to be re-recorded. Definitely not.

Agreed, if u wanna do that throw on a bonus CD on a new album.

It is impossible to improve anything off Fireworks or Point Blank.

Completely pointless and quite disrespectful I think.

Complete cash grab and a slap in the face to Claus Lessman.

Makes me hate this band even more.

Should have left the name Bonfire alone and just kept the band as EZ Livin'.

Just what I said when they announced DR was the new singer.

For Geoff:

NEW STEEL PANTHER CD in 2016!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately, it's a live unplugged disc it appears.... coming out Feb. 2016.

Well that's terrible news. But I wonder if they do have a new proper album due next year. They're certainly due. I was actually thinking about them the other day with all these lists of new releases due, wondering where there one was.

Live CD supposed to have 1 new studio track on it.

Here ya go Geoff:

http://www.blabbermouth.net/news/steel-panther-to-release-live-acoustic-album-in-february/

Los Angeles glam-metal jokesters STEEL PANTHER will release a new acoustic album in February. The effort was recorded this past October at Swing House Rehearsal & Recording in Atwater Village, California.

STEEL PANTHER singer Michael Starr told "Another FN Podcast With Izzy Presley" about the forthcoming unplugged record: "It's gonna be accompanied with a DVD as well. We're gonna debut a few new tunes on this actual unplugged, and we're not gonna put out the new songs recorded [on a proper studio album]… We're gonna actually record them live and release 'em."

Although the STEEL PANTHER acoustic album already has a title, Starr declined to reveal it during an interview with South Detroit SoundHouse. He said (see video below): "The title is really cool. We fought tooth and nail with the record label regarding the title, 'cause they wanted us to change it.

And I said, 'No. I ain't changing nothing.' And we didn't. So you're gonna love the title. It's fucking sexy."

STEEL PANTHER is coming back to Las Vegas for three nights in January. They will perform at the House Of Blues on January 8, January 15 and January 22.

STEEL PANTHER's third album, "All You Can Eat", sold around 13,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to land at position No. 24 on The Billboard 200 chart. The CD arrived in stores on April 1, 2014 via Open E/KLS.

Disappointing. I hope this doesn't put the brakes on whatever momentum they may have. Even as an uber-fan, I have no interest in this one at all. :(

For me, Steel Panther should have done a more serious album for their third.

Then maybe for 4 they could have had some more fun.

They have a few more serious songs mixed in with the comedy, but I got a bit tired of it.
I think the music got a bit stale trying to fit the funny/sleazy mold and it was all kinda the same.

Can't wait to get going.

Some material I'm really looking forward to listening coming up in the first couple of months.

Bring it on.

Still got everybody's final 2015 listings to come. Always some good stuff to go back to as well.
