Now the extremely obnoxiously catchy We Are Never Ever Ever Getting Back Together has been implanted in my brain like a demon seed, it will for the next week at least plague me, night and day, over and fucking over, I fucking hate her, I just ordered her cd.

Or Desmond Child, from what I gather, she writes all her own stuff, and has since her 1st album, with the exception of Tim McGraw, I guess that is why she is a super star, I just hope she doesnt do something fucking stupid, like turn up in a porn tape or something, cause she really is the only squeaky clean star I can think of, and I don't mind my daughter loving her because of this, just seems like these are always the ones that end up dropping the bomb one way or the other.

I dont know if any of you have heard this new song by her, but I am going to have to ask if Mutt Lange was around by the production value, this is some over produced shit here, absolutely excellent sounding song, and did I mention it was catchy?

You're not kidding. I can't get that tune outta my head either. I also had the misfortune of seeing the video. What's with the furries?

I guess it isn't something I talk about very ofter but I'm a fan I know I've said it on here before but I really enjoy her music. Respect that she writes her own music and is such a great ear to hear that hook that just gets caught in your head. I look forward to her vocals getting stronger as she does this thing we call music.

They had way too much fun making that video. I can't front. I wish I could have been in one of those suits, with a banjo, looking like a fool. I mean, I might as well get paid for what I do best. Looking like a fool.

I think that's just it, you cant merely act like your having as much fun as they act like their having, they are having so much fun that they are happy to be dressed up like farm animals, and pulling stupid faces, these people are truly living a happy life, and all they gotta do is show up with their instruments, and their leader will surely deliver them the most memorable hooks in the business every time, she is a hook machine, I will say it,what a fantastic pop song we got here, cant wait to hear the rest of the CD, that's one thing about Taylor Swift, you can bet your money(or spend it) that this is not the lone good song on the album, it will have 11 or 12 more just as catchy as this one, she is possibly the most consistent songwriter I can think of.

I expected catchier. I officially name that video terrible too.

I only ever hear what I hear from her on the radio when I'm in the car with my wife, but she's someone I'd prefer to hear over most pop rubbish on the radio.

All around she makes me hurl... Songs are icky and so is she.

The fringe and her appearance in that clip is... but she usually looks pretty good to me. :)

eh, too much sleaze, hard rock, melodic rock, etc. out there waiting for my ears so I do not waste time with this stuff.

Video was fun I guess but the song makes me cringe.

It's definitely something you either enjoy or you don't, dude my favorite band ever is Venom, so I am very secure with my music-hood, It might have something to do with my daughter loving her, but it might now, as I would never listen to Lady GaGa and my daughter likes her, it's surely the catchy songs, compared to her peers, and all the other kinds of garbage that are out there, she does have some talent, and if that talent is writing songs that get stuck in your head for months, then to me that in its self is a very unique and valuable talent, and don't think for a minute I am not constantly seeking out Melodic Rock\Metal, Power Metal, AOR, etc. but if I came across an AOR, Melodic Hard Rock\Metal album chocked full of songs catchy of this magnitude, I would be all over it, bet that.

This one? I didn't think I'd heard it before but it does sound familiar. I was all like, wtf, does this song for for 6mins?! But it turns out the movie type intro is about 3mins long. Huge production for a song film clip. The pre-chorus hook is pretty huge and I guess the song is okay for a pop song.

The Walgreens' drug store around my corner has a whole "mini-store" section devoted to Taylor Swift stuff... CDs, T-shirts, posters, books, etc.

In the aisle a life size cardboard cut out of Taylor is standing in front of all this stuff, and every time I pass by it I wonder how many local teenage boys are plotting to steal that cut out so they can take it home and do weird sex stuff with it. :D

My Walgreens has that too, right by the front entrance. I never realized how tall she was. That gal is 5' 11" (180cm) :o

:rofl2: I'm too old for such nonsense. If anything, my plotting would involve stealing it, waiting 20 years and then selling it as a collectible.

I already got the one from by my house, I already made all the correct alterations to it, and it now has anatomically correct orifices! it's great, I hope any new chicks that come over don't feel threatened by it, or there may be altercations occurring at my pad, after they fight, I will just ask them both to hang out, ya know for cheese and wine.

    • Eclipse played that same game when Apocalypse Blues came out.  They dropped that song as just a single and made no mention of an album at that point as far as I remember.  All they were doing was selling the 7 inch vinyl.  We know now though that they clearly knew a full album was coming as Erik said they basically were working on both albums at the same time and deciding which tracks would go on each album.  Granted, maybe they didn't know the full timing of album #2 at that point but they certainly knew one was coming. Maybe the same here.  Maybe will trickle out a few songs and then announce an album later this year or early next year when it's closer to release.
    • So, Danny posted how the song is doing on Spotify and someone asked if this means a new album soon. Danny just made vague replies and said "well there will be more stuff coming soon"
    • Funnily enough, I read that this afternoon when I went to add the album to my collection on the main page. I got the European version which has two bonus tracks ... if you don't have them, you really aint missing anything

    • Created and Posted this video recently in order to promote Ryder SRIII a little more.  I love this song, one of my personal favs from the record.   Be careful viewing at work though (NSFW), just for a couple of images in the video.
    • Named my HH self after the song Auslander on the album Stain. Love that track. Really like the whole album. It's like Living Colour's "Slave to the Grind" or "Dog Eat Dog".
    • From Frontiers: TRACKLIST: 1 Awesome God 2 Stand Up 3 Warrior 4 There You Are 5 Speak His Name 6 Why God Brought Me Here 7 Praying 8 It's Up to You 9 Holy Moment 10 Leaning on the Cross 11 Jesus Christ --- When a musical family gets together to record, magic can happen and this is what the VAN ZANT’s are here for! Brothers Johnny and Donnie Van Zant (respectively current lead vocalist of Southern Rock icons Lynyrd Skynyrd and founding member of .38 Special) were able to find room in their busy schedules for the first time in 1998, recording their collaboration album “Brother to Brother”: a tribute to their late brother and Lynyrd Skynyrd original singer and founding member Ronnie. Such release was highly acclaimed between the press and fans worldwide and brought the duo to record a follow up album, simply entitled “II” in 2001. Their collaboration during the years did not stop as they tapped their feet in a more Country-oriented style with the release of “Get Right With the Man” (certified Gold in the USA in 2005) and later on with “My Kind of Country” in 2007. Now the brothers once again reinvent themselves, offering a Christian-themed album encompassing their Rock and Blues musical roots (and with a touch of Country for good measure). The result “Always Look Up” is made up of songs that will touch the listener’s heart and soul, with an emotional depth that is truly second to none in today’s musical landscape. Experience the soul touching that only the music from the Van Zant family, can provide. You will see why they are icons of the American South, and musical heroes to millions around the globe!
