Get the fuck outta here, you really found Shark Island, Leatherwolf, Vain, and Pretty Boy Floyd at the used CD shop? You must have raided their secret stash.

I used to be able to find stuff like this all the time like 7-10 years ago, but not so much anymore.

Found Greg Kihn - Kihntagious at our local used CD/Bookstore last week. I know that's a $7 used CD on the Massive bookstore website, but I was shocked to find one in person.

My best hit was I found the Eddie And The Cruisers-Live And In Concert CD at that same local place. Slight damage on the front cover, not too noticeable. Bought for $7, worth about $20 or more.

Went to our local used CD store last night. I've stopped buying CDs for a little bit (...please forgive me because I have sinned.) Bought four. Had a couple of good finds. One was 10CC's Greatest Hits 72-78 for $5, it sells on the world's biggest bookstore for $20 used. But the best find was Bob Margolin - My Blues & My Guitar. Bought it for $9 used, an average price for it. But the best part was Bob's autograph is on the front, you know they must have not known it because they would have put it on Fleabay.

This is not a pawn shop find by any means but I managed to get Roko Open Invitation mint on Ebay for $.99 cents. And a U.S. seller to boot. Couldn't believe that...not on Ebay much anymore and blows away the debut in my opinion.

    • It's ok. I think people know I am a massive Crue fan, and I like a lot of stuff by them that people hate (the Generation Swine album for example) but the only newer original song I have cared about them in recent years was The Dirt. Everything else has been either meh or crap. I did also like their cover of Like a virgin, which I know a lot of peeps didn't like, so it's not like I am just craving the good old days. I would be happy if we could get a song close to Afraid, Saints of Los Angeles or the aforementioned The Dirt. I think songs like that will be few and far between sadly.
    • Have to agree. Although my expectations were that it would be absolutely horrible like Dogs of War lol. Still far away from classic Motley Crue but I at least made it all the way through this one so that's a positive. Still nothing to write home about but at least it rocks fairly well and there's a semblance of a song there.
    • Just ordered!   All three Magic Dance EPs (Another World, Kiss Scene and Haunting Me) combined into one CD. All new artwork, lyric booklet and three bonus tracks. Silver-pressed replication CD.     https://magicdance.bandcamp.com/album/magic-dance-the-eps
    • Stumbled upon these guys on the Instagrams. Pretty good mix of Modern Rock and Metal with blazing guitars and heavy double-bass drums, and Pop Punk-style vocals.
    • Well... I just jizzed in my pants.  I'm so glad these guys aren't a one-and-done act. Looking forward to much more music, hopefully.
    • Great album upon first few spins..I mean how good/catchy is the track "Lets Go Rent A Video" especially for those of us who actually remember doing that lol
