New Device: Takin' Over

 

I have seen a lot of great comments on this band.....so I purchased it. All I can say is "F**king Awesome!" I hear a lot of differnet bands in this group....from Aerosmith to maybe Paul Stanley/David Lee Roth vocal wise. The two ballads (In the Fading Light) and (Moth to a Flame) have won me over as far as some of the best ballads I have heard in awhile. Thanks to all who showed the path to the great band. These guys have definately "takin' over" as far as I'm concerned.

Wouldn't say 'Hater' in the Poison sense of the word, but besides 'Ready Set Go' which was a great song, and another I can't remember, their last album 'Scream' wasn't great was it. The New one I got in a trade and is alot better, softer, more programmed feel to it, which isn't too bad - some nice tuneage in there. Only spun it twice so far and I didn't turn it of, so....

 

The 2nd disc has 4 more tracks namely

I actually didn't mind 'Scream' at all. Neither of these albums are magnificent but both are pretty decent. I actually find the debut a little more consistent, even if the better songs on the new CD are of a higher quality. I also like the newer, more mellow vibe - it actually reminds me bit of a European vesion of the ballads from Simple Plan's last CD. A few fillers, but some cool tunes.
