My very first buy after more than six months - and it's just $1.08 (including tax)

COLLISION - S/T (mint condition)

There were actually alot of goodies (or at least, alot of titles that I don't have) in the CD Trader where I bought this. But with very limited budget... this was the only one that I can afford.

Storm - Storm II + 6

One of my most awaited CD release ever. First time on CD, so my CD-R vinyl transfer has been well and truly relegated to the bin. One of my all time fave albums plus 6 bonus tracks. Complete awesomeness of the Awesome variety.

Diving For Pearls - S/T + 5

Another great remastering job on this, breathes new life into an already great disc. 5 bonus tracks from the St. Louis 'Boot' rounds off another fine re-issue

Johnny Van Zant Band - No More Dirty Deals

First time CD release and an excellent Southern Rock disc.

I got three newies in the mail from Lala.com today...

Judas Priest - ROCKA ROLLA (was hoping that I might get lucky enough to get one with the original "bottle cap" cover art but nope, it's one of the reissues with the 'flying armored guy' cover...oh well, whatta ya want for $1.75 eh?)

Mercyful Fate - DEAD AGAIN and 9

With those two M.F. discs, my collection of Mercyful Fate studio albums is now complete! Can I get a :woot: ?

Or maybe considering MF's devilish subject matter, maybe this one :flame: would be more appropriate...!

Rebel - John Miles

(mainly for the song "Music" which I haven't been able to get out of my head since I mentioned it in a thread a few weeks back)

Meet Mach 5 - Mach 5 (Mach Bell's new band ex-Joe Perry Project/Thundertrain)

Actually as a quick postscript to the above....The Mach 5 is pretty rockin "down n dirty" and a little cheesy in parts disc...but it is pretty f*ckin' excellent. I knew Mach Bell came from a Boston band called Thundertrain but never knew they had anything out...well I've just scored their two albums on CD at CDBABY and judging by the comments they sound pretty ace, a cross between Aerosmith, NY Dolls e.t.c. so that should be right down my street... I occassionally need something to blow the AOR/Pomp/Prog cobwebs outta my head  !

Slunt - One Night Stand

Slunt - "The Best Thing" picture disc

Meat Loaf - Bat III

The Who - Endless Wire

I mainly listen to music at work, so don't typically have a chance to evaluate it as a whole -- but a couple tracks really stood out as pretty good (although, it might be b/c one of 'em sorta reminded me of some Who classic, maybe "You Better, You Bet"?) -- if you're a Who fan, you'll like it (a bit).
