Agreed. That's why I am ordering the Candy~ Whatever Happened to Fun re-issue. LOVE that album. Pop rock at it's best.

Is the sound much different?

All Rock Candy discs sound like a million bucks plus you get the 4000 word essay.

 

The sound seems a bit brighter from the orig Capitol CD but it sounds good to me. I like the sound on the original too though as it sounds slightly warmer (or is that duller?).

 

I get sometimes torn when I get remasters and I tend to avoid them where possible (by the way if anyone has Scorpions Lovedrive they don't want not the remastered version gimme a shout as the remastered re-issue from a few years ago is junk I got rid of that pretty sharpish) - sometimes they sound a bit too clean or cold.

This is worth getting for the live tracks alone!
