BIG BANG - Rockin' The Galaxy (Edmonton, AB hard rock band)

STEVE MORSE BAND - The Introduction

YOUNG SAINTS - S/T

Nelson, howw'sthe rest of that Young Saints? Really dug that video tune you posted a while back.

Terry, I like most of the songs off the CD. Though there are probably only 2 or 3 songs that are as good as Live for Today, I'd say that it was worth the $4.00 that I paid for that.

Latest acquisitions...

Nailpoint: "Falling to Pieces"

Red: "Innocence & Instinct"

Crashdiet: "Unattractive Revolution"

How's the new Red?

Pretty good. Continues in the same vein as their debut, so if you liked that one, you'll like this one. If I had to rate them, I'd probably give a slight edge to this newie, but really, it's pretty much just more of the same; they found a sound/style that works for them and made no effort to alter it.

It looks like you got a nice little score as well

I remember playing the sweet on 8-track and destroying it by playing it too many times.

    • It's ok. I think people know I am a massive Crue fan, and I like a lot of stuff by them that people hate (the Generation Swine album for example) but the only newer original song I have cared about them in recent years was The Dirt. Everything else has been either meh or crap. I did also like their cover of Like a virgin, which I know a lot of peeps didn't like, so it's not like I am just craving the good old days. I would be happy if we could get a song close to Afraid, Saints of Los Angeles or the aforementioned The Dirt. I think songs like that will be few and far between sadly.
    • Have to agree. Although my expectations were that it would be absolutely horrible like Dogs of War lol. Still far away from classic Motley Crue but I at least made it all the way through this one so that's a positive. Still nothing to write home about but at least it rocks fairly well and there's a semblance of a song there.
    • Just ordered!   All three Magic Dance EPs (Another World, Kiss Scene and Haunting Me) combined into one CD. All new artwork, lyric booklet and three bonus tracks. Silver-pressed replication CD.     https://magicdance.bandcamp.com/album/magic-dance-the-eps
    • Stumbled upon these guys on the Instagrams. Pretty good mix of Modern Rock and Metal with blazing guitars and heavy double-bass drums, and Pop Punk-style vocals.
    • Well... I just jizzed in my pants.  I'm so glad these guys aren't a one-and-done act. Looking forward to much more music, hopefully.
    • Great album upon first few spins..I mean how good/catchy is the track "Lets Go Rent A Video" especially for those of us who actually remember doing that lol
