Sacred Site - S/T

Wow, what a find. Hugely under-rated CD... very good stuff. Sounds like a major label album to me. How much did you pay for it? I've only ever had an artworkless CDR. Could you tell me the year it was released and even post a picture of the band if possible? Just out of interest. :) Thanks.

I just seen another copy of this on ebay for those who are interested.

Wow, 7.99!!! That's insane! Nicely done mate. I put in a bit on the link but I know for sure I won't win it. :( You did really well snagging that one for that cheap. :)

Damn Geoff! It only went for a little over 13 bucks! That sucks. I wish you would have won it

Hey Geoff,

I just this minute (or so) won the other one that was listed I told you about ($18.31), do you want me to scan u in the CD sleeve when I get it matey?

Bernd - Some nice stuff there mate. The Under Fire disc I really like a lot as well as the 2nd Frozen Ghost disc & the excellent Metropolis. The Jadis is superb and one of my all time fave Melodic Prog cd's - awesome. Let me know what you think of the Valensia disc as I know it is too 'Off The Wall' for some people. Me & Nick C seem to be the only people around here that like him!!!

Gotta agree with that Bernd, The Frozen Ghost is great (still I must get Shake your Spirit), I'm looking to extend my Valensia stuff (i.e. get all his releases haha!) over the coming months and I'd be interested in what you think of the Blue album as I've yet to hear it.

Scott Sudbury - Static on my Radio

Scott Sudbury - Get the Picture

Hey Nick, how you enjoying the Scott Sudbury discs? I used to be in contact with this chap a few years ago - nice guy. I bought his 'Get the picture' disc and he sent me a free T-shirt with it. Cool shirt too - still wear it often. But I didn't even know he had a new (?) disc. What's it like? I like 'Get the picture', but the more I listened to it the more banal the lyrics got. Where'd you discover him?

Hey H&H, your not alone. I think it's a pretty decent album. Kind of reminds me of Dangerous Toys (musically).

    • Brother to Brother - Van Zant
    • Return of the Pride - White Lion
    • Sounds like what Ian Hunter would write, Joe is a big fan of his.
    • I dig it, but then I also enjoyed Joe Elliot’s Down ‘n’ Outz side project, so it’s no surprise I’m enjoying this.
    • I'm really excited for this one. Yes is one of my favorite bands but I just can't get into anything they do without him singing. That first song sounds awesome! His voice has held up remarkably well over the years and the band is great. Musically it reminds me a lot of something from The Ladder or the better parts of Union.
    • Well Erik had to take that post down. The record label told him it isnt sposed to be revealed til next week ha ha
    • Just ordered "Shotgun Mistress" - Kings Of The Revolution new CD .......
    • Bruce Dickinson - The Mandrake project (deluxe in book pack with comic)
    • They always have at least a handfull of good songs on each album, I'm not overwhelmed by those first two singles though. Jesper Binzer's (vocalist) solo record "Dying is Easy" from 2017, is better than every D-A-D realease post "Everything Glows" imo.
