    Casey Anthony

I watched none of the trial and gave up after a few of the charges seemed the same, but how is she just guilty of giving false information. Aside from the fact that she seems bat shit crazy, the media (and other things I'd read on other forums) sure made her seem a lot more guilty. Anyone watch it all and can provide any insight into the seemingly idiotic verdicts?

    Mmmmm hot chicks

I found these names in 2 different places, so I'm guessing this is pretty valid. (For anyone who goes looking for a possible pornerific past of any of the lovely ladies in the video.) the girl on the table is Ashley Schultz the girl on the bed is Jennifer Humphrey the girl in the black underwear is Britten Kelley the girl with headphones is Mayra Munoz
  5. Can't believe this thread fell this far. Last time I poster here, I think, I was a Coors Light man and that was it. And not that I still don't have a place in my heart for my first love, but after much time and some substantial work, I can finally say I've followed SHK into the land of experimentation and actually found beers that I like. I've been to my first beer tasting event and already made a few road trips to find some different brews and looking for many more. (To Akron for the Hoppin' Frog BORIS Royale and Willoughby for the Peanut Butter Coffee Porter and Hopnotic Double Red Rye IPA.) Thanks to Denny to sticking with me for the longest time when I couldn't/wouldn't try or like anything besides CL. (Oh, and I found a bottle of Old Speckled Hen and after reading its name on here so many times for so long, I figured I had to try it. I've got to say, at least as of my taste buds now, you must have to drink it fresh from the tap because I was rather underwhelmed.) Finishing up a Brooklyn Brown Ale as I type this and have to say, it's one of the better BAs I've had so far.

    Books

For those of you who've discussed the wrestler ABs, I'm about 90-95% through Undisputed, Chris Jericho's second offering. It's probably even better than A Lion's Tale, which was not in the slouch category. He mentions Butch Walker early on in the book and I'm waiting to see if being on Z Rock garners any mention late in the book, though as little as there is left and the fact that he's still in his first WWE hiatus makes me think there might not be enough time left in this book. May have to wait for tome #3.
  7. Just finished "And Party Every Day" a few days ago. Not quite what I thought it was, but still a very interesting read. Amazing that they kept that house of cards up for that long. Pretty sad end for Neil Bogart too. All in all, an enjoyable read, though not as much KISS as I'd thought/hoped would be in the book.
  8. So sorry to hear that Dave. I know how you feel. My condolences to you and the fam. It's weird. I think I handled the deaths of both of my parents pretty well. And while those certainly are more painful/evident daily, I can absolutely not handle putting a pet down. I had to put my Daisy down on May 24th. I bawled like crazy and drove home in a stupor. But exactly 2 weeks later, I was using a shortcut because of all the damn construction around here and I drove past a cat that had been recently hit. As I looked though, it's baby (kitten that was following it) just sat there in the weeds on the side of the road, kind of frozen with fear or confusion. My waterworks started and 2 days and $350+ later, I had a 10 wk-old companion for my near 16 year-old kitty. (Not that she'll like it when I'm finally allowed to integrate the two of them.) As much as I swore after Bristol and Daisy went, I was done, I guess I'll be in the cat-owning biz for a substantial amount of time. (I'm suspicious of folks that can't love animals, even if pet owning is not for them.)
  9. Sorry DH, can't say as I do. (Now that you mention it, I vaguely remember him in Tropic Thunder, but I was nowhere near in love with that flick like everyone else and never saw the other.) It's not so much the sleaze factor either as the age/requirements of the role. But, he can/does look young for his age and who knows how much the movie will differ from the stage show. I guess I'll reserve judgment of his portrayal, but I'm not a fan of Cruise the person (or Cruise the image), so I guess that was where my statement originated. Agree with your assessment of the musical though! If you arrive at the theatre early, it's a 3 hour blast!
  10. Let us know what you think after season 3. That's the litmus test.
  11. Had in the car for the past few weeks: Steelhouse Lane - Slaves of the New World Dio - Magica Butch Walker - Letters 40 Ft. Ringo - Funny Thing Bon Jovi - These Days Alter Bridge - One Day Remains
  12. Russell Brand will be PERFECT for Lonnie. Beyond that, I'm not excited about anyone else, but I don't know how true to the musical the movie will really be. (Since I don't go to the movies virtually at all anymore, I don't think this cast, so far, will break me out of that habit.) If you watch the Today video, during Don't Stop Believin, if you look behind the main stage (cast) or during Here I Go Again (around 8:10), you'll see Lonnie, who can also be seen on TV as Keystone Light's Keith Stone. (By the way , he was so perfect in this role, I can't really see him as Stacee Jaxx... nor can anyone replace James Carpinello. I don't see how Tom Cruise will work in that role.)
  13. On the Revolver Golden God Awards the other night, I liked Volbeat's cover of I Only Want to Be With You. I agree with Dan about JH's Larger Than Life. If I'm being honest, I remember the BSB hatred I had back in the day, but when I heard that song, I had a difficult time not liking it. When Jaded Heart made it even better, that was all the provocation I needed to get into the song. Too many covers over the years to recall, but I've been led to many of them from this site/the folks on here.
  14. Def Leppard was my first "favorite" band. That said, I can really only see me picking this up if I catch it in a used CD store cheap or something. I will be interested in a new CD, though. As much as it's different, I really didn't mind Sparkle Lounge at all. Actually dug a few songs a lot. That said, I will NEVER mind a return to REAL Leppard music.
  15. I thought you guys were fucking around again and that picture was of his wife or something. WTF?!
  16. Harkens back to their glory years/sound, but you can hear some modern update to it as well. That ballad (Time of Our Lives) was amazing! (Track 8 stood out to me also.) Glad to see Coming of Age on there.
  17. I'm thinking they're hitching their chain to this show. I don't know what's coming down the pike with season 4 of SOA, but I think season 3 has to be pretty universally panned, particularly when viewed in comparison to seasons 1 & 2. So, since things jumped so well for Justified, I can see it being huge in their plans (at least until SOA redeems itself). I'm thinking all they really have right now are Sunny, SOA, and Justified. (After Rescue Me ends this year.) While I'm champing at the bit, I will also be excited to see the season and want it to be up to par, so I will gladly let them develop an incredible season 3.
  18. Only show I've seen this year is Stryper, but they were on top of their game yet again. (Local heroes Shok Paris opened up for them. Musically, they were great; vocally, not as great.) I was going to see Skynyrd/ZZ Top tonight, but a few months back, it came to light that the owner of the venue was a supporter of our jackass governor here who's trying to plunder our salaries, pension, and healthcare, annihilating over 300,000 families in the state. So, yeah, I'm skipping out on this venue. (Should prove interesting come TSO-time this year.) Hoping to find some other shows between now and TSO.
  19. Sorry I missed this earlier this year. I've seen it 4 times. (Thrice on Broadway and once on tour.) The Broadway cast (of course the originals) were phenomenal. The Sherri that took over was good too. The tour cast, even though it contained Constantine, was all new and was still good. I don't think they stood up to the BW cast, but then again, I already had a high bar for them to be able to reach (originals of almost everything I like better). Hope you attended and enjoyed. (If you are an 80s child, I can't imagine you not loving this show!)
  20. Such a shame. Seemed to be getting used to life out of the limelight, finding personal peace, settling in with his new wife. Even though I haven't heard anything about the cause of the heart attack and even though it's sad for someone to be gone so young, it's nice to not hear about a death related to some ills of the wrestling business. One of the best matches I ever saw live was Macho vs. the Million Dollar Man. His small package for the win was one of the more technically perfect examples I'd ever seen at that point in my life. He always had your attention. (I'll never forget when he tore up my Elizabeth sign back in the Macho/Sherri Dusty/Sapphire tag match.) RIP Randy. Prayers to your family and friends. (And thanks for all the wonderful memories.)
  21. After first thought, I agreed with you Wes. But, between some retrospective thought and reading others' take on the situation, Doyle was definitely the most dispensible. Mags, while one of the best-acted characters in recent memory, was a really strong character that could have led to some incredible season 3 storylines. (Margo Martindale's performance was superb! Should be Emmy-worthy.) But I guess that wasn't in the plans. (Check out this interview with Graham Yost, exec. producer of Justified: http://www.tvguide.com/News/Justified-Postmortem-Graham-Yost-1032713.aspx.) I hated Coover and didn't mind seeing him gone. While I hated Dickie as well, Jeremy Davies' portrayal of him was masterful. With him around, I think they can stop season 3 from just being about the Raylan vs. Boyd situation. (And hopefully they'll focus less on the Winona situation. Much as I adore any screen time Natalie Zea gets, this year, her character amounted to little more than annoying eye candy.) If you think about the scrapes Dickie got into and always managed to get out of, he really might seem like a waste (not imposing), but he's got some sense behind those hidden eyes. He was on death's door twice and managed to escape. Between that fact, how he'll think Raylan killed his whole family, and how his mother would rather die and be with 2 of her boys than be alive and be with him should put a huge chip on his shoulder that should only add to the tension in season 3. Will Dickie go after Loretta for seemingly being the catalyst that caused the downfall of his family? Plus, even though Mags and Raylan ended the Bennett/Givens feud, you know Dickie isn't taking Raylan's word (or anyone's word, if there had been any other witnesses besides Raylan). (See, I think having Dickie back, despite my original anger at him making it through alive, could be a tremendous boon for the storylines of season 3.) Let alone the Raylan/Boyd issues. Raylan took Dickie from Boyd as a chip in the season finale and Boyd won't get him back and get his retribution for Ava. Will he hold that against Raylan? Will his attitude toward Raylan drop even lower after Raylan's response to Boyd's query when Raylan wanted Dickie: "You askin' or tellin'?" and Raylan said "If it helps, you can tell people I asked."... haha! Plus, if Raylan "disrespects" Ava one more time..... Wondering if the Raylan/Art issues are dead and buried. Wondering how the older lady that made Jed recant his story is related to the Bennetts. Could that have something to do with next season or was it just needed so that Dickie had any serious charges against him dropped so that he could be out to do some damage in season 3? Also, REALLY hoping we'll see them step up their used of Tim Gutterson. Twice this season he put a bullet right through someone's skull. He's been shown to kick serious ass. (I could see, if they grow his legend just right, spinning off a series about him. He's dark, seemingly has his head on straight, and just kicks major ass. He also has respect for people he knows to be good (at least at their job), but also draws the line at doing HIS job. (Can you believe that's the kid from Euro Trip? Talk about career divergence.) I can't believe, with all the guys on this board, this thread has basically evolved, barring the odd one-off comment, into 3 of us talking about it. I know a boardie who loves the show and doesn't post in here, but I'd think people would be ALL over this. As Leykis said, it doesn't have the action of a Shield, but is so phenomenally dialogued and acted, that I can't see how MORE people aren't on board with it. Oh well, more for us. Absolutely can't wait for season 3.
  22. Liking this show too. I missed this past Sunday's episode because of WM XXVII, but it's in line to be taped soon and I'll check it out before this week's episode. Enjoying this new show as well. As much as regular TV appears overrun with reality crap and poor programming, really starting to find a lot of quality programming on cable.
  23. Agreed. I really did laugh out loud at that moment. They've given Art some really good one liners this season.
