I haven't had much time to think through the ramifications of the finale, but it seems to me that with the way they did things tonight, they just pissed all over the prior thirteen episodes. While it seems like an interesting set up for next season (how do they get out from under the CIA's thumb, how do they try to minimize this war with the Niners now, especially because they didn't just think about what they said as an excuse for Opie's actions, will Opie be Jax's VP, will Clay really relinquish the gavel without a fight (Chibs and Happy seem cool with Jax being in charge; can't exactly say Tig looked "supportive"), and will Gemma suck up to Clay and end up in a family war with Tara and Jax? How will they deal with Otto? That said, was Potter's only reason for being around this season just to fuck with Charming Heights? And add some "drama" to the season? How long is it going to take to get Bobby out of prison? Why did Juice get out so quickly and Bobby didn't? No Otto closure yet, although, the way they've handled other stuff, it wouldn't be surprising to that swept under the rug as well. For such an incredible regenesis this year and setting up a possibly great season next year, I couldn't help but feel this episode was pretty much a let down because it crappily tied up some of this year's story and just set up what next year will bring.

Aside from being a hilarious movie, I think one of the coolest things is now watching Justified and seeing what a BADASS Cooper Harris ended up being.

I just started in 3 fantasy hockey leagues this year, but from what I've seen and what others in the league/owners say, it's difficult to keep a larger number of people to keep interest for one year, let alone multiple years and to keep setting their lineups. In one of the leagues I'm in, it isn't a first year league and I was one of 4 owners to take over teams for whose owners last year were deadbeat or abandoned their teams after the season. I'd suggest maybe an 8 team league, if you can get that much interest. Not necessarily huge benches, but not so few that you can't at least have one back up per position player on offense, if not the whole team. Just my 2 cents. Good luck.

Wow! What an episode! (Yet again.) They still don't have this whole Cartel/Irish thing down and now Tig has escalated things with the Niners. So, even IF one line gets wrapped up, difficult seeing how two of them do. And even if it does, then there's the whole "will he/won't he" about Clay making his grand exit. And IF that one gets wrapped up, then there's Gemma's manipulation (or at least attempted) of Jax and Tara. Does she not think she's going to be successful and then kills Tara and blames it on Clay's failed hit coming around to finish the job. And then there's the whole Otto/Bobby/Juice/Potter thing with the Cartel/Irish meeting. JEEZ! I can't wait until next Tuesday and the finale. (That and to see what inevitable mess is left for season 5.)

This. SO this. (And, that intro to Summer of '69... no! Bad Carrie!) She's talented for sure, though!

Haha. I could get behind this. I wasn't a fan of the first album; thought they tried to just coast off the Metal Shop/Skool stuff and the extra was just filler. If the new album has this kind of songs/"freshness" (I know, that's a retarded word to use to describe what they do), I could see looking in to it.

Reminds me of the scene in Big Bang Theory when Sheldon is out buying a present for Leonard's surprise birthday party and ends up helping every customer in the computer section until Penny calls security on him. I don't know that it quite qualifies as a misfile, but I remember finding Blue Tears s/t in a used CD store among a ton of used country CDs on an endcap rack. I think there were other CDs elsewhere in the rack, but probably the 5-7 around it were country CDs. I was certainly MOST excited!

What a great fucking ending! I only hope it's not spoiled by Clay wearing a bulletproof vest or some other stupid thing. (That said, with hearing what Jax yells in the previews for next week, I'm sadly sure that somehow Clay will pull out of it, for at least the time being.) And I hope Jax doesn't follow through with Opie, though I can't imagine he'd call for help (outsiders) if he'd just done something he wouldn't want them to see. This season has been an absolute return to form over last season's fairly pronounced disappointment. I can't wait for these last 2 shows!

FYI, for all those who, in spite of being somewhat dismayed at his latest efforts, are big Butch fans, I read that not only is he now an author, but he is also in the process of putting together a documentary. For what it's worth.

It is absolutely hilarious. So many great episodes, but the first one from season 2 when Archer had to protect the old German dude's 16 year old daughter. Some of the lines in that one were the hardest I've laughed at a TV show. FX really knows how to do episodic television, be it comedy (Archer, Sunny) or drama (The Shield, Rescue Me, SOA, Justified).

Wowza! Deaths galore, secrets revealed, and nothing is even remotely closer to being solved. That was a great 90 minutes, but at this point, every moment Clay spends breathing makes this a little further removed from reality. Which again means his survival beyond season 4 is even more ludicrous. At this point, at a minimum, he's made strong enemies of at least Bobby, Jax, Unser, Tig, and finally Opie (not to mention Gemma should be in the list as well). He's alienating/alienated his club at seemingly every turn; it's not like anyone would be too distraught over him disappearing. That said, as we discussed before, I can sadly see Clay around for some time (at least in to season 5, though I wouldn't mind being proven wrong).

I read that they added a 14th episode this season and Sons will now extend into December... AWESOME!

Holy shit! Tell me that wasn't epic! I can't believe there are still 3 episodes left this season. Tonight was so action-packed! Kurt Sutter will have to do one hell of a writing job to keep Clay alive too much longer. Poor Unser. That man is so devoted to Gemma. I didn't like the looks of part of the preview from next week. I can't wait for the whole (step)father/son thing; this is going to be great!

So, I've totally wiped my hard drive clean of these things (all that I'd saved and all that I'd created/saved), but I found a few today and thought, eh, let's throw a few at the wall and see if they stick. Had an Old Rasputin Nitro today and I vote in the affirmative. The Old Rasputin was pretty good, but this ramped it up just that little bit more and it was even better.
