  1. Yeah, sorry if the topic is a repeat. Being somewhat new to the hootenanny I'm sure I'll come up with some things that have already been passed around the pipe before, since I don't browse all the back threads. And Marvelous 3 would be one for my list, definitely. No worries at all. Love this topic idea. Gives me a second chance to gush over a lot of my faves and add some previous omissions. Can't believe I forgot to list Tramp and Bratta as well as Saigon Kick. I know SK reunited their original lineup for a handful of dates this year but nowhere close to me unfortunately.
  2. Recall a similar thread (possibly zacharyamelie's?) but don't remember who I may have listed. I do know I would love to hear new material from the following as well as see them in a live setting: 21 Guns with Tommy Laverdi et al. Circle of Soul (heard Joie Mastrokalos was/is in poor health though) Diving for Pearls Big House My Little Funhouse Autograph (I think the keyboardist passed away though) Cry of Love with Kelly Holland on vocals Honeycrack Neverland with at least Sugg and Ortega but Scott Garrett's presence would be huge, too). Skid Row with Bach Dan Reed Network (missed their New Year's Eve reunion this past year) Marvelous 3
  3. I will find out if they still have it on Sunday Keef! Going to see them in Fargo, ND. Saw them on the In Justice For All tour w/ Metallica and they sucked. Saw them headline the Sonic Temple Tour and they were awesome! So what did you think of the Fargo show?
  4. Does anyone have Damon Johnson's latest solo cd entitled Release? If so, can you tell me whether or not it is a factory pressed silver cd or a cdr? I emailed his store asking just that and their reply was "Damon's Release album is a factory produced cd package manufactured and packaged by Discmaker". Not quite sure what to make of the reply.
  5. Not even gonna bother listening to the samples; picking this one up the second it drops. Great band!
  6. Not looking to trash you at all but today's Trixter really knows how to have fun on stage and put on a kickass live show, outperforming many of their better known tour mates over the last couple of summers.
  7. Great band. Have all their studio releases but have never had the pleasure of seeing them live. Kicking myself for not checking out their Dublin show a few years back when I had the chance.
  8. That's my take on it, too. Regardless, the guy is a through and through fucktard!!
  9. Really like the debut. Just like each subsequent release that much more. Mane Attraction is the best of the bunch for me.
  10. No particular order: Lonely Nights Don't Give Up Wait Little Fighter Living on the Edge Don't Say It's Over Broken Heart (prefer the Mane version) Love Don't Come Easy It's Over You're All I Need Where Do We Run Lights and Thunder Cherokee Tell Me Hungry Goin' Home Tonight
  11. I like these topics. White Lion or Whitesnake; either or.
  12. Probably my all time favorite album. Can't wait to hear Outlaw, King Contrary Man, Bad Fun etc. in a live setting. Waiting for them to announce who the touring rhythm guitarist is now that Mike Dimkich is in Bad Religion. Doing these two shows but greedily await the announcement of a Canadian leg, too. This is gonna be F.N. crazy!!
  13. Checking out my favorite band on the planet play their Electric album from start to finish followed by a greatest hits set: The Cult : Aug 4 Fargo The Cult: Sept 6 Las Vegas Sebastian Bach here locally, 5 min away from my place on June 29. Steel Panther Sept 7 Las Vegas (hoping to hear a tune or two from their upcoming release).
  14. My Roxy Blue T arrived today. Simply put: absolutely BADASS!
  15. Desperate for this one, too. Absolutely love Lizzy so anything even remotely close to it peaks my interest, especially with Gorham's involvement. Just debating whether I should cough up the extra cabbage for the deluxe version.
  16. Awesome job! I'd make the trip for the 600 jewel cases alone.
  17. Don't hate "Alone" but not overly crazy about it either. Despise "Girls". The song, not the opposite sex. Guess you can say I'm a fan of rap, at least old school 80s rap. As a wanna be writer, part of the appeal for me lies in the creativity found within a lot of their rhyming patterns. Eminem is a lyrical genius in my opinion but he is about as contemporary as it gets for me within this genre. I do love this song. LMAO everytime I listen to it. Hope the link works:
  18. The guy filming obviously is (was) a huge supporter and Tate pisses in his face. What an absolute DICK MOVE! Asswipe of epic proportions!!!
  19. He sent me an email about being suspended a day after I used buy it now on a Roxy Blue T shirt. Did he email you cool breeze? So many counterfeit t's on Ebay (many of them super cool to boot). What a crock of shit!!!!
  20. Rockin is Ma Business Four Horsemen in the new GI Joe movie. Best thing about the movie actually.
  21. U forgot to phrase it in the form of a question but I suppose that may have given it away. Cheers.
  22. Not 100% sure (too blurry to read) but the upper left corner of the back insert has a rectangular yellow box which looks very much like the BMG labels on some of my cds. I can see a sequence at the top which starts "D" followed by 6 numbers which is what my Babylon AD cd has. BMG and Columbia House were music mail order clubs allowing you to select 10 cds for a penny as long as you purchased an additional 4-6 cds from them at their regular listed prices over a span of 2 years. They are fully licensed, authentic and identical to their retail counterparts but for that label on the back and the disc itself reads "distributed by BMG music (along with BMG's address) under the band's record company (in this case Arista). Hell. You didn't even know you had one. It's all good to me but a lot of collectors frown upon them for some reason. Maybe they know something I don't.
