I really like Chinese Democracy. Overly glossy for sure but there are some incredibly strong songs on it. I think people are trying too hard to hate this one. I've heard it's on the shelf at some dollar stores. Can't for the life of me understand why fans of the genre would turn their back on it for a buck or two. One man's poison... I guess. As far as Axl himself? What can be said that hasn't been already? Anyway you slice though he is still the voice of GNR. Just watch the HOF vid. Myles Kennedy sounds great as does the band. But it still sounds like Myles Kennedy doing a guest spot on a GNR tune. All these bands throwing their bitchy little hissy fits; GNR, Great White, LA Guns, Dokken. It's pathetic. IMHO it's the perfect sequel to the Decline of Western Civilization. I'm just waiting for the day Chickenfoot dumpsters their name and starts booking dates as Van Halen.

Flying to see the Cult in Tempe, Arizona on June 22 touring in support of their new album Choice of Weapon which comes out May 22. The wait is killing me! Absolutely love the lead off single For the Animals! Definitely recommend the masses check this one out over at Itunes! Monster!!!

Saw the trailer and thought it looked really funny. I love Will Sasso so I will definitely check this one out with kids in tow!

Any fans out there? I've read where Bobby Durango was selling the original version of Young Man's Blues produced/mixed by the late Jim Dickinson. Is it that much different from the Geffen version and if so, is it worth getting?

This guy is a national treasure. I try to keep up with everything JSS lends his voice to but we all know how busy he keeps himself. Pretty tough to keep up with. The Eyes s/t disc is probably my fave release out of those I've heard. I remember picking it up when it was first released and being instantly hooked!

Marvelous 3 and Danger Danger!!!? Sounds like a match made in heaven to me. Making it awfully difficult to resist checking this one out before it arrives in the mail! Funny to see Tyketto invade the Trixter thread after a Trixter discussion broke out in their thread. As I said before, if the rest of Tyketto's new one is equal to Faithless I would buy it.
