  1. F'n love these!!! Anything else out there by them?
  2. Like this. Never heard RPM but I thought Thickskin had at least 3 bad ass songs.
  3. Maybe they'll be playing MelodicRockfest3 in Chicago this September.
  4. Thought the same thing listening to Dizzy Dean's solo outing. Played Girlschool and New York City Night back to back for the wife and told her it was the same vocalist on both songs. She just gave me the WTF? look. Not saying I don't dig both but two completely different vibes altogether. Flower song sounds cool.
  5. Gonna say the 49ers. The Colts, Broncs, and Pats all had inferior running attacks. This will be the Raven run D's first real test this post season. That said, I fully expected both Denver and New England to swallow up Baltimore and Atlanta to take SF at home so what do I know.
  6. Cool. Since I have a huge interest Japanese bonus tracks, I'll be checking it out.
  7. Yea. Huge letdown. No balls at all. I may still pick it up if I can nail it for under $10. First Time is as crunchy as it gets and that ain't saying much. Leaving California and Take Me Home are my favorites (based on the 1.5 minute samples at Itunes) followed by Be Your Everything and Stuck in The Middle. Went back for a second listen of Cheated after you stated it was your fave. Still not feeling it but again that is after a minute and a half spin.
  8. I believe it was a bonus track on the Japanese version of Slippery, but I could be wrong, I can send it to you when I get home later. Appreciate that. Thanks. Not sure how you go about doing it but my email is shamusquinn@hotmail.com if that helps. Thanks again. Hey bro let me know if you received my email? Sorry. Never came through yet.

  10. Wow! Edge of a Broken Heart is a killer track. Can anyone hook me up with it? Saw the soundtrack on ebay but it's insanely priced and doesn't look to offer too much belong this wicked song.
  11. Almost broke down and cried reading this. Utterly heartbreaking. I was so looking forward to hearing it. I was even contemplating springing for the insanely priced ($125) mega fan pack. Perhaps not. What's the acoustic disc like? Would you even suggest just buying Want Some More?
  12. Revisited their back catalogue to ready myself for their live show this Saturday. Their first 3 discs are phenomenal! I like Black Butterflies, too (it has several monster tunes on it imo). I would rank All Night Long their weakest to date but still enjoy it as well. Like what I'm hearing from Gluttony and will be grabbing Confessions the day of its release.
  13. Buckcherry and Heaven's Basement this Saturday. Platinum Blonde March 1. :headbanger: :headbanger:
  14. Three disc fan pack here I come!!! Not clear on whether or not that one comes autographed and if you preorder the 3 disc version, do you get two picks? Whatever. Can't wait for this one!!!!!!!!!! :headbanger:
  15. Anyone heard the two Japanese bonus tracks from Nelson's After the Rain disc? Is it worth tracking down the import for these two songs (Too Many Dreams and Keep One Heart)?
  16. Pretty sure the ink is real. Looks to me like Parrish is the only one without any tats.
  17. Wildside Under the Influence Bang Tango Dancin on Coals
  18. Wall of Silence Shock to the System Westworld Cyberdreams
  19. I picked this one up at Best Buy for under $10 in Arizona last year. Cool disc. Quite a few tracks sound like Ginger/Wildhearts offerings with Monroe on vocals and since I'm a fan of both, that's a good thing imo. Nice to see ex Company of Wolves guitarist Steve Conte turn up here after a stint in the New York Dolls.
  20. I'm sure we could all fill a complete set of encyclopedias with bands we miss but I totally agree with Bratta and White Lion and Saigon Kick. SK have a reunion in the works and I'm hoping it includes new material with Kramer. In the meantime Bieler has an ep out under the moniker Owl Stretching which features a 2011 version of the track The Lizard.
  21. Two older brothers steered me in the right direction from the get go. Plenty of 70s hard rock, alot of which I eventually tracked down on cd years later. Thin Lizzy, Santers, KISS, Piper, Prism, The Monks, Angel City etc. Bought my first cassette in grade 7 (Def Leppard Pyromania) and proceeded to amass a large collection of 80s rock. Wasn't 'til I was out of high school that I revisited mainstream 80s new wave and popular music. Again courtesy of one of my older brothers.
  22. Anyone heard Todd Poole's latest band 714? Couple of cds out including their latest American Tragic which was released in Sept. World Breaks Down is reminiscent of the Roxy Blue years.
