  1. The perfect band to listen to cruisin about on a summer night. 1 Take A Deep Breath 2 Love Machine 3 YW&F
  2. Ratt and Roth based on their larger catalogues but I like Roxy Blue's one and only album better than both.
  3. Preordered this yesterday. I'm all over anything written by Lane/Kelli. Can't wait to get it!
  4. Love this band! I prefer the classics over their more recent stuff with Black Tiger barely winning out over Mean Streak (Lonely Side of Town and Midnight in Tokyo being my faves). Down for the Count was probably their most commercial release but it ranks up there for me, too. Very catchy especially Anytime at All. Surprised to find out Temptation was written by the D2 boys. Cool to hear their version with Ted Poley on Rare Cuts.
  5. Saw Hot Rod Friday night. Lame! Not sure if it was the screenwriter, director or the star himself but someone was a HUGE Europe fan! Soundtrack only had a couple of Europe tunes on it but the movie had a boatload of them in it.
  6. Arrested Development's G.O.B. used the Final Countdown to introduce his magic show in multiple episodes. Hilarious. Someone mentioned Edward Furlong's buddy wearing an LA Guns shirt in T2. His red headed buddy (he holds the boom box playing GNR on the back of Furlong's dirtbike) is Danny Cooksey who fronted Bad4Good. Nineteen - what a great song! And anyone out there aware that Matthew Gerrard of Regatta/Von Groove is pop song writing machine associated with Hannah Montana, High School Musical, Kelly Clarkson etc? With credits like these you can forget about a Von Groove s/t reunion anytime soon: http://www.songwriteruniverse.com/matthewgerrard123.htm http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1720431/
  7. 35 date US tour to promote their new disc which came out yesterday! Outside of Danger Danger, I can't think of a band I'd rather see live!!! In fact, I'm flying to Vegas to catch their show Oct 19! Anyone else heard the new album? Taking in a show?
  8. I liked Tommy Nilsson's post Easy Action solo stuff and some of it was in his native tongue. As stated, a catchy song is a catchy song. I now expose myself to extensive ridicule by admitting I like Der Kommissar.
  9. Living Colour and FNM are cool. The rest: I'll pass on.
  10. That's Warren DeMartini playing guitar on Goofy Goober Rock (the I wanna rock parody). I'm not ashamed to say I think it's a cool cartoon and a cool movie.
  11. Funniest thing I've seen in awhile. Bang on!!!!!
  12. Lead singer was in Hedley before he entered Canadian Idol.
  13. Watched Saw tonight on satellite. Not overly impressed by it. Tries hard to capture the demented creepiness of Seven but doesn't come close.
  14. Favorite song: good lovin gone bad... but favorite album: Fame and Fortune with Howe.
  15. Rented the Milpitas Monster back in the 80s with my younger brother - budget so low you'd swear it was a high school production or worse. So atrociously bad I found it second hand in a video store and gave it to my brother for Christmas just to torment him. Sneaky prick rewrapped it the next year and gave it back to me.
  16. Don't know alot about this project and can't help you with even a bootleg version ( been waiting for a proper release for eons). Can this guy pen a song or what? Title of the project was Jabberwocky and featured guitarist Rick Steier and I believe drummer James Kottak both of whom Lane brought into the Warrant family sometime thereafter. Comfortable with sad and my private blue world are huge faves of mine.
