The Storm - S/T and Harem Scarem - S/T were my choices. I am more the AOR type.

Did anyone guess this already ??

Wow... shove all the best releases in the 2nd poll! This was another impossible one to vote on, and I already doubt both choices I made. I went for:

1 - BB Steal

2 - Danger Danger

BUT, I didn't see Europe in the first poll or I'd have picked that. And the 2nd poll was just impossible. Harem Scarem and Tuff are both essential to me, but I actually think Kane Roberts is my fave out of them. Or is it Danger Danger? Oh f*ck, I really don't know. I'll stick with my first 2. But, my runner-up-and-well-worthy-of-note vote is:

Europe

Kane Roberts

Tyketto in the first part.

The second part was more difficult to chose between, Danger danger, van halen and Xyz.

I remember that time my fav was F.U.C.K., but today I went with Danger Danger.

Stop, wait a minute, SOUTHGANG-Tainted angel that was a masterpiece, I put it on the same level of Van halen,Danger Danger and Tyketto.

From the first bunch of options, I went with KIX: "Hotwire," 'cause it still "kix" my ass to this day. :)

From the 2nd bunch of options, I went with SKID ROW: "Slave to the Grind," because 15 years later it still makes my stereo its bitch at least once a week. One of the all-time great examples of how to properly merge melody with aggessive attitude. :headbanger:

How could I pick anything else if KIX's Hot Wire and THUNDER's Backstreet Symphony are on the list? TESLA's Psychotic Supper and DD's retardate Screw It! were also great, but to choose anything aside from Backstreet Symphony as the best of '91? I don't think so.

1991 was a crucial year for me because that was the year I got into metal. Unfortunately, IMO this was also one of the last good years in hard rock before the grunge/alternative crap hit the airwaves. Here are my choices:

Part 1

1 - Ozzy Osbourne - No More Tears

2 - Europe - Prisoners In Paradise

3 - GNR - Use Your Illusion I

Part 2

1 - GNR - Use Your Illusion II

2 - Skid Row - Slave To The Grind

3 - Danger Danger - Screw It!
