Geoff Posted March 20, 2006 Report Share Posted March 20, 2006 Just Surrender - 'If these streets could talk' ; 'Our work of art' still amazes me, and there's something twisted in me that takes a lot from seeing a man spill his shattered heart onto a musical canvas - raw emotion, as in 'You tell a tale' and 'I can barely breathe', or 'Forgotten not forgiven' and the brilliantly titled 'She broke me heart, so I broke his jaw'. These guys are like a mix between Cauterize and Funeral for a Friend - 2 of my faves, so this is a fave. In a perfect world I'd have loved a few more uptempo tracks like the closer and 'Forgotten...' because they really shine on those, but for a debut, f*cking sensational.
