Just listened to Alaska 'Heart of the storm' which really sucked dogs balls bar the 2nd song, now listening to Bobby Kimball. Like Nick C, not is a happy state at all and echoed that mood with a rather sombre Hopesfall disc, their 2004 release which didn't do much to assist me. ALso started listening to Line of Fire's disc, which I'll spin shortly when I get back in the car...

Bobby Kimball was okay... though the only good tracks were the ones on Unruly Child's debut, so overall I have to say it sucked (apart from the songs I already knew).

 

Now listening to Brand New - 'Deja Entendu' which also sounds like it sucks... sort of, it's okay. I'm getting more depressed by the second.
