Didn't listen to much over the weekend, but the two I did shot right up to the top 10 of the year so far:

 

Hedley - s/t (awesome stuff that I recommend fans of SR-71 and Bowling for Soup check out. Very, very good.)

 

Hinder - 'Extreme behaviour' (is that what it's called? Forget the exact title, but as many have discovered here, this album is a gem. Some awesome songs and lyrics that really hit home. Beautiful stuff.)

 

Today:

 

Earshot - 'Two' ( wish there was a couple of uptempo rockers, but either way, this is a killer disc. The 2nd last track... 'Could've' {I think it's called} is sensational, but the whole thing is very strong, not a single filler - like the 2 above)

 

Switchfoot - the new one (Sounds okay, the above 3 are all better though...)

Hmmm, what do Roxxi sound like? I think they sound a little like 'GET THE F*CKING ALBUM AT ALL COSTS!'

 

My apologies, but yeah, I think they're a little fantastic. As JLP Rocks put it so lightly, Roxxi do rock a lot harder than Danger Danger's debut. It's just brilliant hard rock, that's all one can say about it. I guess they remind me a little of Inside Out and Crush ('...This') but not sure if you know those 2 - can't think of any "bigger" comparisons? Anyway, essential IMO.

 

I've been listening to Hedley and Hinder again - I am f*cking taken by these 2 discs!!!
