Am playing this too. Has been a bit overshadowed by the ALLEN/LANDE release IMO, but is still quality AOR & one of the highlights of this year. Even if Denander's production has all-but sucked the life out of it...

Well,it's a good cd but when people have said best A.O.R. album of the year they are sadly deluded.Too many slowies that border on miserable.The up-tempo tracks are impressive but are overshadowed.Like I said,it's not bad and as a Denander fan I'm disappointed.I never thought I'd say that !!!!

Its growing (the Bardowell disc that is). I see what you mean Wotty -a litle one paced except the first track (which is excellent - typical Denander stuff). I really like 'One Day In January' 'Dreamin' With My Eyes Open' & 'Through My Eyes' so far. The rest ain't quite hit home yet, although I must say that it is probably one of the best Pure Aor discs for a while, although their hasn't been that many really good ones overall (better than the Stan Bush's last and the disappointing Over The Edge). Album of the year I don't think so (In fact I know so), but it is pretty good all the same. The production has Denander all over it and has a really good soundl. I hear he is doing the new Stan Bush album aswell!!!!I only know one person that has said this is the album of the year so far & we all know who that is don't we!!!!He decided that the day after it was released and reckons the Bruce Turgon may beat it -how he knows that when it ain't even been released yet and no soundbytes are avaliable God only knows!!!!
