I'm actually listening to P.H.U.Q. now (for the first time), takes me awhile to jump on the bandwagon, being old and slow as I am... ;)

I kept meaning to pick some of their stuff up and I just never got around to it. :anon:

Really good stuff, I don't even know how to classify it, there's so many different influences going on.

Oooh....you gotta get "Fishing For Luckies" then, Pete. "Do The Channel Bop" is my personal fave!!!

"Shut your mouth.....can't you see that I'm ignoring you....

your lips are moving up and down,

you're trying to get a message through

but here and now I'm absolutely miles away

I'm thinking of a million things

and none are what you're trying to say" Love the tongue in cheek lyrics....

So far I've got "Earth vs...", "P.H.U.Q." and "Must Be Destroyed", I'll have to see if I can find "Fishing..." next, thanks for the tip! Lot of catchy choruses, but the tongue in cheek lyrics really makes it pop.

I know what you mean....someone asks me who they sound like...and I'm like.....I dunno.....very melodic...hooks for days....rawkin'....kinda pop-punkish at times....kinda hard rockish at times....LOL

One thing that I truly love about 'em is the gang chorus's.......they do that well!!

Backstreet Boys - Never Gone

I know you're all sniggering, but there are some Def Leppard overtones on it. Anyone who liked Nick Carter's solo album will find a lot to enjoy on here. Half-a-dozen Max Martin-written songs always helps too. A decent disc.
