When It’s Love for the Sammy era

Where do you begin?

I'll post two. One from each era. Are they my favourites? I don't know, but they've meant alot to me and I love both. 

The first one might seem an odd choice, but he loved his "keys" and they were a big part of the VH sound.

as for the DLR era.....most of the songs are utter garbage but I like a few on 1984.

I know it's overplayed but Jump is easily the best DLR song imo

"Running With The Devil" for me,although "Everybody Wants Some" is also a fav..

I'm also more of a fan for the Sammy era so from that "When It's Love" is classic,but 5150 is my favourite overall album.

Doug, I don't know who you are or where you came from, but this is the song that sprang to mind for me as well.

 

That said there are a couple grips of DLR era VH songs that are quintessential, imho.

 

As for the Van Hagar era, not nearly as many, actually, very few, but one comes to mind and that is Finish What You Started.

 

As already mentioned we lost an irreplaceable icon, that definitely impacted our lives greatly.

I visit HH site a lot, live in the States.   I also love "Finish What Ya Started." Big Sammy fan.

Hands down this tune. If not for this tune I'd probably never have bothered to check anything else they did out, which is a lie because some of their radio hits, which one cannot escape, are pretty cool. But yeah, this song by a long way-
