Edguy will always get a free ride form me. Even if the last two weren't so brilliant, their back catalogue is phenomenal, and they're just great guys. Fookin' hilarious! This, however, doesn't need my charity, because this is awesome!!

I was trying to find that emoticon of the banana jerking off, cause thats about all the care I have over any Edguy release now or in the following years, they have absolutely sealed the deal, as far as a colossal dump band, after Hellfire Club, and Rocket Ride, I guess they decided they only needed to release albums, doesn't matter if anything on them is good, just as long as theres enough suckers out there believing it will be anything like Hellfire Club, then they will gladly pander to those blokes, not me, I learned my lesson after dumping hard earned cash on those last 2 fucking dump shit albums, fuck them, there finished, good riddance as well.

Here's a very positive review:http://www.metalunderground.com/reviews/details.cfm?releaseid=12758

I, for one, am excited. My brother already pre-ordered me a copy.

I'll definitely still listen to this. I won't expect much at all, but I truly hope it surprises me. A few gems on the last disc but a lot of clunkers too. Here's hoping for more gems this time around.

Holy shit, that's really good. Good, strong melodic hard rock without trying to be more than this band should be. Being too pompous for your own good assists no one, and if they just stick to killer stuff like this for the album's duration they may just be onto something. Love it.

Anyone heard this yet? Pretty typical Edguy disc. Some very good stuff here, mixed in with a handful of fillers. Anyway, for me the most interesting track was on the Disc 2, on the limited edition of this CD. The song is called 'Aychim in Hysteria.' It is stunningly flawless melodic rock - no doubt with a very heavy influence from a particular Def Leppard song, but the lyrics. Seriously, wtf? I found an explanation:

"Aychim in Hysteria", which is lyrically a tribute to the band's live sound engineer and musically a tribute to British group Def Leppard, specifically to their Hysteria era.

Still makes no sense, though. Anyway, here's the song:

And here are the lyrics, for your info. Good luck, lol:

Aychim in Hysteria Lyrics
Edguy
You got an offer
That's what you told the masses in Swabia
For three million Deutschmarks
You don't mind if broken your ass is
If sheikhing is strong (and snake in is lo)
And bogus the money (promises wrong)
And sheikh is pretending
Looking a lot like the fraud on TV
That they keep hunting for
Aychim - don't you let sheikh in
Swabia quaking - burning and aching
Aychim Coaler on fire
Flames burning higher
Wait to let sheikh in - Aychim
Now we know the stranger turned out
'Nepper, Schlepper, Bauernfänger' no
Insolvency is near, uh babe
So you produce Drimal Vear
Keep touring with Edguy of waiting for
You Kamel a lot and never know why
You are grinded by AC, heed the advice
Next time when sheikh rings
Don't tell the Edguys
Never open, Aychim! Don't you let sheikh in
Swabia quaking - burning and aching
Aychim Coaler on fire
Flames burning higher
Wait to let sheikh in
King Kong on fire
[solo]
Aychim - Don't you let sheikh in
Swabia quaking - burning and aching
Aychim Coaler on fire
Flames burning higher
Wait to let sheikh in
King Kong on fire

Looks to be a lot of puns, inside jokes, and non-English words. I think I understand it, though. Still haven't heard it, as I haven't been home in a week. It's sitting at home, is what I'm told.

Once again, a band that isn't Def Leppard that can write a Def Leppard song better than Def Leppard. What a choon!

And this whole album is awesome.
