I'm Justin. I live in Portland, and I'm just hitting my mid 30s. Thanks to my parents, I got heavily into hard rock at a very young, and thanks to an Uncle, I also got into thrash metal at a young age. These lead me to getting into many other sub-genres of metal/hardcore/punk over the years, and I've become an obsessed collector.

 

If you happen to be a member of the Heavy Metal Rarities board, you might have seen some of my uploads over there of demos from old Portland bands, which can also be found at http://pdxunderground.blogspot.com/ . In addition to that, I also co-run another blog about 1990s hardcore - http://stuckinthepast.net

 

My tastes vary greatly, though, so I'm looking forward to dabbling with this board.
