I will assume that a thread about this band must have gotten lost during a move from one host to another because I can't believe that this board wouldn't have had a discussion on this band. Love the album FUEL FOR YOU SOUL and wore it out when I got it. may pull this baby out and put it in the vehicle for a bit

Great band of its time alongside Giant - Skin - Thunder you get the idea with the album fuel for your love and the mini album trouble + 3 singles on Poydor then dropped from the label without a contract they split up but what they left behind was worth a spin Poydor let them go before they could find their full potential.

Brilliant band...picked up the Fuel For Your Soul & Trouble remaster from Bad Reputation recently to upgrade from my old cd and it sounds great...check out the Red White & Blues -Shine cd its Matti produced and vocals/Bass with Myke on guitar...not as good as Jagged Edge but still worth checking out if anyone hasn't yet.

  • 2023 Gold Donors

Definitely one of the best voices in the business.

One of my favourites and criminally underused.

The self titled "Road to Ruin" album from '07 is also another example of his brilliance.

This track, is ironically "The Only One" I could find on youtube

    • Sounds like what Ian Hunter would write, Joe is a big fan of his.
    • I dig it, but then I also enjoyed Joe Elliot’s Down ‘n’ Outz side project, so it’s no surprise I’m enjoying this.
    • I'm really excited for this one. Yes is one of my favorite bands but I just can't get into anything they do without him singing. That first song sounds awesome! His voice has held up remarkably well over the years and the band is great. Musically it reminds me a lot of something from The Ladder or the better parts of Union.
    • Well Erik had to take that post down. The record label told him it isnt sposed to be revealed til next week ha ha
    • Just ordered "Shotgun Mistress" - Kings Of The Revolution new CD .......
    • Bruce Dickinson - The Mandrake project (deluxe in book pack with comic)
    • They always have at least a handfull of good songs on each album, I'm not overwhelmed by those first two singles though. Jesper Binzer's (vocalist) solo record "Dying is Easy" from 2017, is better than every D-A-D realease post "Everything Glows" imo.
