New Release - My Darkest Days (just for Geoff)

Out today here in the states. Best Buy has an exclusive version with 2 bonus tracks, on sale this week for $7.99.

 

For Geoff however, assuming he hasn't yet heard (or seen it), the single that's been getting a lot of airplay here is "Porn Star Dancing".

 

Personally, I think it's catchy as heck. Very Nickelbackish at times. The first time I heard it on Octane, I couldn't get the damned chorus out of my head. Very infectious; definitely sticks with you.

The entire cd is pretty damn good if you like the Nickelback style mixed with some Hinder and Shinedown. Thanks for the recommendation Dan!

Yep, I picked up my copy yesterday as well. Some cool stuff on this one. To be honest, there are several fillers, but the good more than outweighs the bad. I think they're a little lighter version than the bands mentioned though. To me it's more like Nickelback meets Rooster meets Sick Puppies. The "Porn Star Dancing" featuring Zakk Wylde is probably the heaviest track. I also downloaded the exclusive bonus track on Itunes called "Fucked Up Situation". Thanks again Dan. I knew nothing about this band until you started this thread.

Interesting. I guess there are multiple "exclusive" versions out there.

 

The 2 "exclusive" tracks on iTunes are:

Just heard this... pretty good. Like Nickelback, the more commercial/melodic numbers are easily the highlight. 'Can't forget you' was particularly delicious.

I just picked up the Best Buy version and this is a pretty darn good disc. I copied all but a few tracks to the computer/ipod.

They will be here April 4th. I've already told a buddy of mine that is interested that I'll definitely go if he decides to pick up tix. He's still saying he will go but as of yet no tickets so we'll see what happens, but I'll let you know how they are if I go.

Really? That song's one of my favorites That and "Every Lie." It's a great Modern Melodic Rock album, though. They seem to understand melodicism and hooks better than most bands of that style. I hope their next album is just as good!
