What are some of your favorite album covers? You know...the ones that you would see for the first time and say "man, if I had a band, that would be the album cover I would want! :headbanger:"

 

Some of my favs include:

 

AC/DC - Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap

 

Dio - Dream Evil

 

Dirty Looks - Turn Of The Screw

 

Black Sabbath - Mob Rules, Never Say Die, Technical Ecstasy (I have no idea why I like the Technical Ecstasy cover, probably because it's so damn weird)

 

Iron Maiden - Somewhere In Time

 

Legs Diamond - Town Bad Girl

 

Guns N' Roses - Appetite For Destruction

 

W.A.S.P. - S/T

I guess technically it's not hard rock but I've always been partial to Meat Loaf's Bat Out Of Hell, and again with the slightly off-topic...any Molly Hatchet cover with Frazetta artwork. I also like The Cars' Candy-O cover too.

 

Those are just the covers that spring to mind, I don't even listen to any of that stuff, I just remember it from when I was growing up.

Just ordered this cd today (thanks Wes!)...love the album cover! (umm not in a perverted way! just a cool cover IMO)

Damn, that's an old thread, I don't even remember posting my post... and for the record I actually picked up The Cars - Candy-O on CD recently... :anon:

 

That Saxon cover is pretty damn cool, more sexy than perverted (assuming the lady is legal or at least fairly close of course!).

Well that disc came out in like 1987 so if she wasn't legal then she probably is now. :lol:

This thread will probably fast degenerate into people posting albums covers of scantily clad women.....and rightly so......

 

BUT my fav album covers of all time are Marillion's......esp Script For A Jester's Tear and Fugazi - the artwork is just stunning!
