Ali Rock
maybe one of the tracks from the Sweden Rock cd:s. Both great but Tonight is propably the best track they ever have recorded IMO.

Ali Rock
Seems like me and you Geoff has a very similar taste when it comes down to 80-ies melodic rock. Me and you usually tends to think almost the same songs rocks these type of albums

Geoff
Didn't want to create a new topic for this a few days out from the release of their new album, but as per discussions in the One Desire thread, this would be how I'd currently rank the HEAT discography; 1. Address The Nation 2. H.E.A.T 3. Freedom Rock 4. Tearing Down The Walls 5. Into The Great Unknown Amused that this topic is in the glam/sleaze sub-forum. I have a feelin that the debut might be bottom. skipped through it earlier and although it's good it's not aged as well as I thought. tts42572
Not sure on percentages but for me: 1. Tearing Down The Walls 2. Address The Nation 3. Into the Great Unknown 4. Freedom Rock 5. H.e.a.t The big gap is because there is a huge one between the Gronwall albums and the Kenny albums for me
My Little Pony KarpetRydOFunk Posted January 30, 2020 My Little Pony Report Share Posted January 30, 2020 I think it's just in order of release, for me. H.e.a.t Freedom Rock Address the Nation Tearing Down the Walls And I never listened to Into the Great Unknown, because I lost interest. But I should at least give it a try tonight. If I was to do a Geoffrey-style rating, I might find I like Tearing Down the Walls more than Address the Nation. I skip about half the songs on that one, now. It hasn't aged well for me. It shows you clearly don't discriminate between the two vocalists.
My Little Pony KarpetRydOFunk Posted January 30, 2020 My Little Pony Report Share Posted January 30, 2020 Also, is it just Gleonard, or does everyone hate "Beg, Beg, Beg"? He's been very vocal about it for, well, I suppose ten years, now, and I just don't get it. It's catchy. It's upbeat. It's got a cool solo. Why the hate? It gives me the chance to have a piss mid set Actually last time I saw them it was pretty awesome as they sandwiched Whole lotta Rosie in it if I recall correctly

I don't mind it either....But the song is definitely enhanced live when they go in to the snippets of the other tunes and usually results in some kind of crowd antics from Erik. Glen
well I was right when I said all would be between 85-95% but this shocked the hell out of me. More thoughts and full ratings to follow when I have a chance : 1. Address The Nation 95% 2. Freedom Rock 88.85% 3. Into The Great Unknown 87.50% 4. Tearing Down The Walls 86.14% 5. HEAT 85.38% Suffice to say one of the essential bands of the last 10 years and I'm sure that the new album will nicely slot into 2nd place most probably For the record I rated 10 songs a perfect 10.....5 of those were on ATN ! 30 songs rated 9 or over. Amazing really.
