New sleaze stuff... sounds pretty interesting... id say its somewhere between Crashdiet and The Poodles... (dont shoot me if you dont agree).

:bigboom: How dare you compare these guys to Crashdiet or The Poodles?.....haha, just kidding! Not too shabby. I wish their songwriting was a little stronger, but the title song "Heaven hell or hollywood" was pretty good. If they could get Chris Laney to help them out, I think they'd have a shot.

It's just a band link for Avalanche. I don't know what the music sounds like but that is some pretty sexy action there.

Hmmm, sounded okay to me but I wasn't overly impressed to be honest. The vocals and song-writing both leave quite a bit to be desired at this point, but I'd like to see where they can go from here.

OK, the title track ("Heaven Hell or Hollywood") kicks some ass, but the others need a little work, though there's definitely some potential there. They either need to take the time to craft better songs or bring in an outside songwriter to beef up the hooks and give the tunes that extra oomph they're currently missing. Yep, I daresay with a little help, they could be contenders.

Hard to believe that Snowy Shaw, one time Mercyful Fate drummer, is the driving force behind this band... seems he's got a nutty side...

received this one last night and wasn't that impressed. Not in the same league as most other glam/sleaze bands coming from sweden at the moment. I prefer the Loud n Nasty discs (as I'm pretty sure this is the same guys under a different name).

want to give it to me? :)

Really? Wow, I loved that last Loud N' Nasty disc. Maybe I need to get re-interested in this?

Yeah, as noted above I was pretty unimpressed with the Myspace songs...

I think they're alright, sounds like a mix of Hardcore Superstar and Wednesday 13 to me.

The singer sounds identical to the guy in Loud n' Nasty, who is this Snowy Shaw dude?

What's the singers name in XXX?

Confused is an understatement

as mentioned above, pretty sure this is Loud n Nasty under a different name.

    • This is kind of a twofer. I just got my Pioneer VX-90 Betamax back yesterday. Cost me a fortune to get it fixed. Well worth it to have such a beast of a machine. Before that I only had low to mid tier Beta machines. I am very excited. The first tape I played was Quiet Riot: Bang Thy Head. Watching that video I found myself in awe of how awesome Quiet Riot were during those first few years. How is it possible for a band to be that awesome and have it all go so wrong so quickly? By the time I heard about Quiet Riot in the early 2000s they were basically considered a joke. Sadly, I kind of just accepted that as fact. I was a casual fan at best and never really looked much deeper than the radio hits. That was a mistake. I am lucky that I at least got to see them live a couple times. I didn't appreciate it at the time. That was really cool of Kevin and the other guys to sign my ticket stub.
    • From Bravewords... Legendary rock guitarist Jake E. Lee (Ozzy Osbourne, Badlands, Red Dragon Cartel) has issued an update after he was shot multiple times earlier this week in a Las Vegas, NV street shooting. Jake shared the following via social media: "Checking. Is this on? Been awhile since I posted here. Let’s see: "I deeply appreciate all the concern and well wishes. Makes everything going on a little better. To clarify, I was shot three times. I was on my way back home from walking my dog Coco (I didn’t name him so don’t!) Don’t want to go into details now, I’m tired, but I feel relatively very lucky. The police found 15 shell casings at the scene which means he emptied his clip on me. I could only dodge so many so one bullet went through my forearm, one through my foot, and one in the back which broke a rib and damaged a lung. Priority now is to keep draining my lung till it’s done crying. Then we can pull that tube out and concentrate on the more minor injuries. "And by the way, Coco’s fine and appreciates your inquiries!"   Police released a statement regarding the shooting, which occurred early morning on October 15. The statement reads: "Officers responded to a shooting incident in the 11000 block of Alora Street. Officers arrived and located a male victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The male was transported to the hospital. No arrests have been made at this time. This is an ongoing investigation." In a statement to TMZ, Ozzy Osbourne said, “It’s been 37 years since I’ve seen Jake E. Lee, but that still doesn’t take away from the shock of hearing what happened to him today. It’s just another senseless act of gun violence. I send my thoughts to him and his beautiful daughter, Jade. I just hope he’ll be ok.” Lee played with Ozzy from 1983-1987 and was featured on the albums Bark At The Moon and The Ultimate Sin.

    • This is one of the songs Erik and Jona wrote for the next Skid Row album before he handed his notice in
    • So I have this info from a reliable inside source. There will be a new CL album at the start of 2025, and Danny is also working with Chez Kane on her third album which should come out late 2025.
