Album Covers (most gay) of all time

I was recently stoned (tonight) and was unloading a box of my cd's that had been 3 years lost, but my uncle miraculously found them in his storage shed, and shipped them to me, but I was ripped and pulling each one out of the box individually, you know giving it a once over, when I burst into hysterical laughter, I don't know if it was the irony or sheer stupidity of it, but upon scanning Loverboys - Lovin Every Minute Of It album cover, I was bound to uncontrollable laughter, Im sure if I hadnt been blazed, it would have just gone right over onto the pile, but it struck me, could this be possibly the single most stupid, mindless, cheap, album cover, or do you think perhaps it was a concept cover? and I just didnt get it at first? what are some of your thought, and feel free to add to the list of excellent album covers, if I could think of more I would have just done a poll, maybe after you all pipe in, i'll have enough Ideas to do a poll.

if you said gay paedophillia I would have said Nirvana ' Nevermind', but since you said gay I'll just have to go with "Soldiers Under Command' by styper. (Yes, that's right.... the whole jesus thing is just a cover!) That balck and yellow lycra jump suit really does it for me...., ummmm, .... I mean Geoff.

Perhaps gay was a bad choice of words, since gay's often would have a more well thought album cover, (R.E.M. Green) just got my Stryper poster framed, good call on that as well, but still not even as remotely stupid as Loving Every Minute Of It.

Before they were "Shotgun Messiah", they were known as Kingpin. You should see what the BACK of this cd cover looks like.....

My wife was so embarrassed when I bought this one.

I explained to her that I was buying it for the music and not because they looked nice in their furry diapers. :anon:

:rofl2::rofl2: That was made me laughing out of loud because one day, my girl look at me very weird about that CD in my collection. And I had to justify why I like this band. :rofl2: This is a real gay cover art, no doubt.

I refuse to own this CD strictly because of the cover art. It looks like a gay porn tape! The name of the band should be "ManOporn"

oh man o man...i think thread could get ugly real quick...cuz we all know that back in the day, we ALL thought these cd's (albums) looked real cool and we wanted to dress just like them to get the chicks....now...hind sight...they look gay?? now tim tim up above....uh..yeah!! thats a bit too much butt flesh being pushed there!!!

but those were the fun rockin daze we all wish would come back to the forfront of ROCK huh?

im sure we all have at least 1 or 2 'gay pose' cd covers in our collection. i myself have a few.....dare i say it.... hall and oates cd's...ya know..i think pretty much ALL of their cd covers look pretty darn gay to me now that i think about it.....hmmm

pretty softcore compared to the others, but its mainly Alec and Tico that make it look gay...especially the look on Alecs face!

Yea, that's pretty gay. Looks like Tico is going "KISS ME you fool!"

Classic. Rob Halford probably has a 10x10 blow-up of this album cover hanging on his wall. :rofl2:

You ever seen the picture of the band on the inner sleeve of the "BALLS TO THE WALL" vinyl LP? All the guys are shirtless (except Udo) standing together with their arms interlocked. Very disturbing.

    • Sadly the bonus disc of demos is just an extremely cut cown version of the Demos album released back in 2007

Atlantic Records is issuing a new Box Set that includes the WINGER releases from 1988-1993, and in addition, they are adding a Bonus Disc of related Demos. Atlantic recently did something similar with Ratt which proved to be a great package that fans loved. Now it appears, it’s time for the WINGER Box Set release. Share and support… see details below. ————————————— FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:   WINGER’s 1988-1993 ALBUMS COMPILED IN NEW BOX SET, ALONG WITH A BONUS DISC OF DEMOS One of the most-aired hard rock bands on MTV during the late ’80s and early ’90s was Winger, a band who had it all – expert chops, chart success, arena tours, etc. And now for the first time ever, the band’s best-selling albums will be compiled together in the new box set, Chapter One: Atlantic Years 1988-1993 – which will be released on November 17, 2023 via Atlantic/BMG, and will be available as both vinyl and CD versions. Included will be the band’s self-titled debut from 1988 (which spawned the hits “Madalaine,” “Seventeen,” and “Headed or a Heartbreak”), In the Heart of the Young from 1990 (which gave us “I Can’t Get Enuff,” “Miles Away,” and “Easy Come Easy Go”), and Pull from 1993 (which contained “Down Incognito”). And long-time fans of the band – whose classic line-up was comprised of singer/bassist Kip Winger, guitarists Reb Beach and Paul Taylor, and drummer Rod Morgenstein – will probably be most intrigued by the inclusion of the fourth disc, Demo Anthology, which includes original demo versions of Winger’s biggest hits. Additionally, the set will be newly remastered by Ted Jensen – with the remaster process overseen by Kip Winger. “I’m very proud of this box set.  It captures an unforgettable era for the band and these are the only remasters I officially endorse.” – Kip Winger Still rocking to this day – the band issued their seventh studio effort overall in 2023, the appropriately titled Seven. Kip Winger is also a respected and successful symphonic composer, having issued recordings under the name C.F. Kip Winger, while Reb Beach has been a member of Whitesnake since 2002, and Rod Morgenstein has served as a professor at Berklee College of Music (in addition to playing in a variety of other more jazz-fusion-based projects). To obtain all of Winger’s definitive LP’s in one fell swoop, Chapter One: Atlantic Years 1988-1993 covers all the bases – and then some! • Yeah, it's a good cover of a classic song, but a song that good is always going to sound killer. Still doesn't make that any more than just a good cover version of it. The original remains unparalleled.
    • Just not within in Eclipse's discography.
