Any good? I 'd love to get it as a part of my ingrowing interest in American literature.

Yes, very interesting stuff. Stan's a unique character.

Yngwie Malmsteen - Relentless

I liked "As Above, So Below" by Anders Tegnér better. That book is highly recommended.

I enjoyed it. It's a long read but very entertaining, with quotes from just about everybody who was anybody. There were some very interesting stories about how debauched the porn industry was during the 70s, and how deeply organized crime was embedded in it..

Mack The Life - the autobiography of comedian Lee Mack. Here's a tip - DON'T read this one on the train to work :)

Love Lee Mack - that could be good

It IS - far better than I was expecting ... the only trouble was, I read some of it in his voice ... which just made it even funnier!

Read this in an afternoon session last week, and I'm still thinking of it. Witty, funny and sorrowful. Hi ho! I still don't understand, despite the pain he had to endure from the loss of his beloved sister, why the author rated it with D in a self assessment of his works which was published later. Hi ho! Lonesome no more!

This is a great and entertaining book from a science enthusiast with minimal scientific background, but with great communicative skills of science. Surely there are some omissions, for example the absence of George Gamow / Feynman from the history of the development of the bing bang theory and various mistakes in some of the analogies used, but I don't care as long as there is a ton of anecdotal and detailed stuff from the history of science which makes the reading of this book entertaining( some stuff from Einstein/Hubble/ Eddington bios is hilarious) and sine qua non for readers with interest in the history of Physical Science.
