  1. That would be the stuff. I couldn't remember the name so I just called it wheat beer.
  2. The more I thought about it the more I started to think it was the Oktoberfest in the green bottles. I decided to take a trip to a part of Lewisville I hadn't been to. I went to the liquor store Goody Goody and bought some. I also bought some Leinenkugel wheat beer since it was on sale. I haven't even finished one bottle of the Oktoberfest and I already feel fuzzy. It's dang good stuff.
  3. Mark Slaughter is my vocal hero. My favorite song of all time is Up All Night. Stick It To Ya is a masterpiece and it contains my favorite song of all time so it would have to be my pick.
  4. Has anyone else tried this brew? I'm pretty sure it's the one I tried at Fishbonz in Tulsa. It was one of the best brews I have ever had. The other Oktoberfest from Spaten wasn't near as good. I really need to find a 6 pack of that. The mystery of what I drank that night has bothered me for a while. I'm glad I finally did a search to find out.
  5. I don't know how you guys found the time to listen to that much music. It's simply astounding. I don't even think I have one of the releases listed.
  6. Have the lines between modern rock and sleaze glam ran so close together in recent years that bands like Nickelback can now get on this site? Strange days these are. I don't think I would listen to any of the bands listed in this thread.
  7. On the 31st I went to Taco Cabana for the first time. I spent way more than I had intended to. The food wasn't bad, but I found that I liked the salsa better than anything I had to eat it with. The green salsa kicks ace. Yesterday I drove around my new town a bit to try and get used to my new surroundings. I stopped at Jack In The Box for the first time ever and got the Jumbo Deal. A Jumbo Jack, 2 tacos, and a small fry for $2.99. For the price you can't hardly beat it. I thought the tacos weren't bad, but could have been better. With a bit of Trappey's hot sauce they were pretty tasty.
  8. On New Years Eve I got a 6 pack of Leinenkugels Oktoberfest. It wasn't too bad. Today I picked up a 6 pack of Shiner Bock. I liked it quite a bit better, but it wasn't perfect. Next time I think I will go with a name I trust. Maybe MGD or Michelobe Amber Bach.
  9. This is like that episode of South Park. Makes me wonder if this has happened before since South Park likes to make fun of things that happen in real life.
  10. As a Sooner fan I must say that I'm a bit disappointed. I don't feel terrible over it like I did in past bowl games. They played hard and came up short. I must say that some of the officiating was quite strange throughout the game. The first quarter was just bizarre. The game came down to who could capitalize on opportunities and that turned out to be Florida. Still, I think the game really came down to the last pick thrown by Bradford. He threw a perfect pass and the receiver let a defender steal the ball from him. That was unbelievable and it pretty much ended the game right there. The game was a bit hard for me to watch. There is only so much punishment a fan can take. It didn't make the situation any better with my uncle going ballistic about everything whether there was a reason to be mad or not. I hate watching sports with people like that.
  11. That's what happens when Fat Freddy cuts back.
  12. I ordered my copies and I moved before they got there. Looks like I won't be hearing Jungle Blue until July when I head back to Oklahoma. Kind of figures. If anyone is interested check out Jungle Blue's Myspace page. Looks like they just started it.
  13. I guess I'm an old person now at 25. How did it happen? Where did all the time go?
  14. GN'R has some epic songs. If I remember correctly I would say that Estranged is the most epic. I'm not a huge fan of the song, but I like how it ends. The song just has an eerie feel.

    Holy Shit!

Wouldn't that be sweet if he ended up in Detroit? If anyone can fix that situation it's surely Shanahan.
  16. Thank you all. My day has been a bit rough. Still trying to get used to Texas. This place is a lot more complicated than Oklahoma. The car I'm supposed to be driving failed inspection twice. It failed yesterday and after we left the place we did everything they said to fix the problems. It failed again today so I don't know what the hell to do.

    Holy Shit!

I used to love Shanahan. After what he did I wasn't so much. Now I think we're even. I don't have to dislike him anymore.
  18. I'm staying with my uncle and he got pretty upset about the Cowboys. The Cowboys fans they interviewed on the local news were pretty pissed too. Most people were calling Romo a choker. Some were calling for Wade Phillips and Jason Garrett to be fired. One fan even got into an altercation with a Dallas player today. I picked the perfect time to drop into Texas.
  19. The problem is that they should have never drafted Cutler to begin with. I have never seen a player have such a successful season and then get replaced. If Jake had went 4-12 or 5-11 I probably wouldn't have cared as much. If you succeed you should get rewarded. Once Cutler was drafted I knew it was over. Jake would have had to have led the Broncos to a record of at least 12-4 again and a Super Bowl win to have kept his job. Even with a Super Bowl win he probably would have still lost his job. The deck was stacked against him. I will give you that a big part of the reason the Broncos were successful that year was because of a good defense and a good running game. When the defense collapsed after it's epic start the next year everyone pointed the finger at Plummer. The finger pointing was ridiculous. The defense gave up 40 points. It's Jake's fault because he didn't score 50. Then Denver had the bright idea, "Our defense can't stop anyone anymore. Let's replace Jake with Cutler. That'll solve our problem." Stupid retards. Replacing your quarterback isn't going to make your defense any better. When they did that I lost all respect for Denver.
  20. That's where we're different my friend. If I believe something is wrong I'm not going to fall in line. It's too easy to kiss your teams a$$. People like you could care less what they do. They could replace Cutler with Ryan Leaf and the rest of the team with the current Lions roster and people like you would be saying, "That was a brilliant move by the Broncos. I feel a Super Bowl coming on." Teams know that and that's the reason they don't care. No matter what they do you will still be kissing their ass. That's how we end up with franchises like Detroit and Oakland.
  21. They had a good team. Jake took them all the way to the AFC championship. What did he get for his best professional season? He got demoted. Not only that but stupid Shanahan imploded the team. Denver went from a contender to a joke over night. I want Denver to eat their mistake. I want them to pay for it. Every year they do nothing proves just how wrong they were about Jake.
  22. The Broncos I loved are no more. I refuse to support a team that disrespects its players the way the Broncos have. I want the Broncos to take their medicine.
  23. I think what has really saved Lost is the fact that they planned for an end to the show. After the show got a bit muddled in the middle seasons they quickly figured out that people would lose interest if they keep carrying the show on with no end in site. They determined how long it would take to tell the rest of the story and set up the final seasons with that in mind. Shows like Prison Break could have used that same type of vision. Halfway through the second season of Prison Break it became so stupid I couldn't watch any more. I don't even know how the show could still be on the air.
  24. I don't want the Broncos to get in. I would really love to see the Chargers get the spot in the playoffs that Denver was all but assured of. I also hate the Cheatriots and the Ravens. It's most assured one of the two will get in. If one of the two has to get in I'd rather see the Ravens.
  25. At Target I always hated picking up the crap that guests would destroy. Not only did we have to stock the shelves we also had to make sense of the guests destruction. There would be baskets and baskets of reshop to work back to the floor. I'm glad that sales floor normally took care of that. You would go to work out the product on the floor and nothing would be where it is supposed to be. The trucks would be twice the normal size, you had the extra job of fixing the mess, and they expected you to have it done with only an extra hour of time. O' the joy of the holidays.
