  1. I want some beer. I can't wait until Friday. The Rhino Bucket show is going to be a blast. I'm taking my friend Beavis along because I want to drink till I can't drink no more. I'll make him drive. That's the plan anyway. We all know those never work.
  2. I like what I hear a lot. Push Push Lady whatever is really good. I looked at this thread right after you posted it and it's stuck with me. Just now looking at the band again. Hopefully all of their songs will hold my attention.
  3. Time to resurrect the best topic ever. I love Mexican fast food. In Tulsa it looks as though Carl's Jr. is making a comeback. In the Carl's Jr's that are still here they have been putting The Green Burrito back in. I've had a chance to try their tacos and they're pretty good. Better than Bell, but not as good as Bueno. I'm planning to try all of their stuff at some point. Their tacos are the only cheap items on the menu though. Today I also happened to see that they're about to open a Chipotle. That kicks so much ass. I've been waiting for Chipotle forever. I hope they're as good as everybody has mentioned. Still waiting on Taco Del Mar to get to Tulsa. I know they're in OKC and Midwest City already. Del Taco is still on the bordering states and doesn't seem to be getting here any time soon. I found that Taco John's is somewhat close to me. I have to go to Kansas, but at least it's getting closer. If I ever have an excuse to go to Kansas I know that I'll be stopping there. Man, I love Mexican fast food. How bout you?
  4. Woohoo! I made the list. I really wish I could go. If somebody drove me I would. That would kick ass. I would even pay for my ticket and for someone else to go if I lived closer. I really do hope more people buy tickets for this event. I'm sure there are a lot more out there that would go if it was possible.
  5. I hated Velvet Revolver from the very beginning. They had me all excited that Sebastian Bach had the possibility of teaming up with the former Guns N' Roses members. I could think of the possibilities and it had me in awe. Out of nowhere they pick Scott Weiland and I was crushed. I hate Stone Temple Pilots and I hate everything that Scott Weiland is and was. He's a sorry excuse for a singer. Once they announced him as their lead singer I was done with it. Haven't tried to listen to their music at all.
  6. Beer is alright. It really depends on what you're drinking, when you're drinking, and who you're drinking with. Sometimes it just matters on the batch of beer you get. One time a beer may taste great and another time it may flat out suck. If all of those things align it can be a great thing. Wish I could go do some drinking tonight or sometime soon. Hopefully I can get my stuff together so I can drink at the upcoming Rhino Bucket show. Maybe even the Butch Walker one too. Guess I'll just have to see how it goes.
  7. I'm gonna blow all of your minds and say L.O.U.D. Not only was Love Over Universal Destruction awesome, but they were from Tulsa. Some of you may even remember them as Love Obedience Unity Devotion during the Ohio years. Some may not even know them at all. That's totally cool because you do now and you need to get their stuff. So totally wish I could have seen them back in the day. You should too.
  8. I just submitted Pit Bulls On Crack to Brutal Metal. I at least have 1 entry that no one else would have.
  9. I don't have cable or satellite. I'm guessing that I'm in the minority. It's just not worth what you pay when 90% of the channels are complete crap. The only way to get all of the channels you want is to get one of the biggest packages and then you're stuck with a couple hundred channels you'll never use. It's a bunch of bull. If I could design my own package I could probably get everything I wanted with 30 or less channels.
  10. I'm all about cassettes. There are a ton of cassettes that have never been released on cd. Some of it has and the only way you can afford it is to get the cassette. You do what you have to do to get the music. Was never a fan of records. I thought they were cool and all, but too big and a hassle to use. Strangely enough I do have an old stereo in my room with cassette, 8-Track, and record player. My setup doesn't allow me to play records though. I've had it for about 4 years and still don't know if it works. I only have a couple 8-Tracks to use in the stereo. The one that works is Journey-Evolution. That is one great album and one of the tapes that fell into my hands by accident and helped shape my future. I owe a lot to that 8-Track along with the Aerosmith-Rocks 8-Track that got ate. I think it got ate anyway. That was a sad day when that happened. I think I was about 10 years old and I cried. Didn't realize it was available on a myriad of formats. I did know about the resurgence of vinyl. They say it's outselling SACD and DVD audio combined. At my favorite record store he even started carrying some of the newly pressed vinyl. Too bad the store is in limbo. Don't even really know if it exists any more. When I could talk to Jimmie he told me that he was going to search to find some new pressed Hair Metal stuff. He had a catalog with the newest released Vinyl in it. It never happened though. Hate when that happens. Anyway, enough of the reminiscing for me. You know where I stand.
  11. That must have hurt a lot to see. I could only imagine the pain you felt when you first figured out what they were chewing up. I never want anything like that to happen to me.
  12. I only have a couple releases that could be added. If there was a place for cassettes I might win.
  13. Since when have you been involved in porn? I didn't even know that type of job was available in OKC.
  14. What I saw tonight was despicable. Crap like what happened on tonights episide is why I hate these shows. I knew Josh was going to get the boot. The poor guy just couldn't do anything right in Chef Ramsey's eyes. It's a shame because he started off as one of the best people there. When he succeeded he got no credit for it, but when he failed he was nailed to the wall. His whole spiral down started when Chef accused him of sabotaging the dinner. From that point on it was over. It was just a weekly dance of him barely escaping the axe. This time he didn't even get put up for a vote, just gone. It's just sad really. I'm not saying the guy was great or anything, but his competition is far from being any better. The thing that pisses me off most about the whole thing is the fact that the show is so biased. Airhead girl throws away perfect fish and not a word is said. Josh screws up a couple pans of Risotto and he's humiliated. Rock does nothing and always puts the blame on others. He's still there and the girl who's done more than anybody gets kicked off. I just don't get it. I really hope Josh pulls his crap together and gets his own famous restaurant. Then he can give Ramsey the finger. I would after being so royally screwed over. Looks like I won't be watching after this year. This show is a load of crap.
  15. My Aunt is out of town for the first time ever. I bought a 6 pack of George Killian's Irish Red and a 6 pack of Bacardi Silver Peach. Sometimes the simple stuff in life is best. Can't wait till later this year when I can do this crap all I want. I hope Dallas is a blast.
  16. I met Dirty Penny at Rocklahoma. I got a signed cd, stickers, and pics. Supposedly the one they had at Rocklahoma was a limited pressing. Mine's in a slip case and all the new ones are in jewel cases. It's pretty good stuff.
  17. I signed one of the petitions that was going around. I'm so glad that CBS reversed it's decision. There is already a severe lack of quality programming on as it is. It's a good show, but I really hope that they don't take it too far. I'm hoping that they can keep the story consistent to make about 3 great seasons. Any more and it might get too far fetched. It's a shame what happened to Prison Break. They kept trying to add more crap into it until the show was just stupid.
  18. Now that I look back at the old thread I realize how long ago that was. That was back in November. I think I only sent a $10 money order. I was still excited at the possibility of having my name on the list. That would have been cool.
  19. Just so it's made known, I did send money last go round. I don't know if it ever got to Dan, but I did send it. I kept waiting to see my name on the list and I never did.
  20. I have a Gillette Mach 3 Turbo and a Schick Quattro. The Schick is a piece of crap. After only a shave or two the stupid blades are worn out or full of hair so I have to toss it. The Mach 3 is a better blade. I still have shaving though. I bought an electric shaver and I rarely use it because the stupid thing won't shave your face unless you have 2 or less days of facial hair. Should I invest in a Fusion? I thought about it and never did.
  21. I watched the first season and I skipped the second season. This year there is absolutely nothing else on so I started watching again. It's not a bad show, but it's pretty sad when this is the pinnacle of the week. I have to say I'm going for the short order girl and Josh. On the guys side you can pretty much write off Vinnie and the other white dude. They always piss Chef Ramsey off the most. Somehow Rock has put himself above the other guys and he hasn't done anything to do so. It really irritated me when he put Josh up for a vote and left cry baby Aaron safe. That was the dumbest move of the show. And you know that they only had Aaron on the show for comedy relief. He's just like the fat guy on season 1.
  22. Actually I was at a bar. I forgot about the Dos Equis with lime. It's easy to forget one after you've drank so much. For whatever reason I always end up drinking tons of random stuff. I only went in for a couple MGDs and the next thing I know I'm there past 10:00. I found out my guitar teachers band was playing so I had an excuse to stay. I feel terrible now.
  23. I just drank 2 MGDs, 1 Newcastle , 2 Coors, 1 Coors Light, and 1 Miller Lite. I started drinking around 5:00 pm and I still feel buzzed. Good times.
  24. Hands down my favorite drink is Mello Yello. You can't find the stuff any more. It's sad because they're replaced it with that crappy Vault stuff. Vault sucks. I pretty much like all pops, as long as it isn't diet. I'm trying to get away from drinking as much pop though. I also thoroughly enjoy Red Diamond tea. That stuff is freakin awesome. As for the alcoholic stuff, I'm not a big fan of anything. I just drink whatever pops into my mind to order at the time.
  25. I'm not a big fan of Country music. Country is stuck in a rut that it just can't get out of. I swear that you could buy an album from 15 years ago and one that came out last week and it would sound exactly the same. There is almost no progression in the music. I do like Country music from the 70's and back somewhat. I used to listen to some of that stuff on 8-Track when I was a kid and my Aunt still listens to classic country on the radio. Still, if I had my choice, I wouldn't listen to anything but Hair Metal.
