Tesla - Reel to Real...excellent, the recording sounds great ...nice n grittty n hard, this is how bands should record, back to analogue now everyone!!! The version of Walk Away by (James Gang/Joe Walsh) is great...as is Rock Bottom.

The version of "Stealin" is awesome too.

Wait till you hear disc 2 with Aerosmith's "Season of Wither".

I heard Seasons at the bands website and it's darn good (and that's over standard PC speakers), the tracklisting of the second CD looks even better...All The Young Dudes...great stuff - looking forward to hearing it.

The Boy With the X-Ray Eyes - Babylon Zoo

...strange...strange. Haven't played this for years as it didn't quite click with me, but having said that I didn't bin it. Banged it on today and really enjoyed it, it's an odd beast and I think the band suffered through being labelled as a pop band due to the Spaceman single ...whereas in reallity it's acres of fuzz guitar with weird hypnotic kind of riffing and vocals, shades of Roxy music (haha maybe) in places, even in parts a proggy feel. The endless fuzzed guitar does get a little tiresome after a while and the song "I'm Cracking Up I need a Pill" is a waste of space.

I remember one of my mates went to see them and said they were brilliant...he reckoned there were about 10 band members on stage all going nuts just jamming.

Might have to get their second album now hahaha...seriously!
