Onward - REAWAKEN

Now there's one I haven't listened to in months... I saw them live once in Las Vegas.. Man does that guitarist smoke.

Going with:

Mystic Force - Shipwrecked With The Wicked... another one I haven't spun much as of late.

Yea, Toby Knapp... he shreds. Too bad that band never caught on. After they split up I ordered a CD of the demos that would've been their third album from Toby himself, got a very nice note from him too. Cool guy. I hadn't listened to it in awhile either but I'm in one of those "dusting off the oldies" kind of moods today.

Just spinning the 3 CD's I've picked up in the past week:-

LAST AUTUMNS DREAM - "Saturn Skyline"

This is glorious poppy AOR. Better than the last album & some brilliant musicianship.

PRIDE OF LIONS - "Roaring of Dreams

Another mighty effort. 3 fillers towards the end spoil the flow but some of the best AOR you will ever hear. "Language of the Heart" is as good as anything SURVIVOR ever did.

BALANCE - "In for the Count" (Rock Candy re:issue)

Wow, never heard this before - as was a bit before my time - but this is a killer CD...

Has anyone picked up the HUGHES/THRALL re:master, if so what's it like? :drink:

Tom Cochrane & Red Rider - Victory Day

Tom Cochrane - Ragged Ass Road

Moxy - S/T

Pride Of Lions - The Roaring Of Dreams

This is a pretty damned good disc - I don't like the first 3 tracks that much, but it is pretty consistent throughout after those. 'Language Of The Heart' is great and I also like the more Westcoasty tracks like 'Secret Of The Way & Astonish You'. Tall Ships is good even the 'Fog Horn'!!:
