Thousand Foot Krutch - 'The end is where we begin' ; man this CD is deceptively good. It's a shame a few shitty rap verses on a small handful of songs bring this down or it would be very close to 80% worth of modern rock niceness. Some really good songs here.

 

Wakefield - 'Which side are you on' ; these guys sound like Cauterize, hey? Uh, thanks for the tip, LastFM - good one. Clowns. Pretty average stuff.

Pound - 'Startdust, Lies and Holy Water' ; did anyone know Tony Harnell co-produced this, co-wrote 3 songs on it and did backing vocals? That caught me by surprise.

 

Pride of Lions - s/t ; not so bad. I must say, the thing I probably like least about it is Toby Hitchcock's vocals. I kind of hate those big notes that almost sound operatic. I still blame Peterik, though, because there's no sign of that style of singing at all on his solo disc.
