reckless love - reckless love ( what an awesome album this is, seems to be a little unappreciated here on this site though ) :)

I dont think its unappreciated on this site. There's a pretty extensive thread for these guys with loads of positive comments.

I wouldnt quite describe the album as 'awesome'. It certainly has 3 or 4 awesome songs, but as many fillerish songs as well IMO. Overall about an 8/10 for me.

Looking forward to seeing them live tho :-))

They are definitely damn good live. A bit 'posey' (the singer is a strutting shirtless beanpole) but the quality of their playing and harmonies is pretty special...

    • It's ok. I think people know I am a massive Crue fan, and I like a lot of stuff by them that people hate (the Generation Swine album for example) but the only newer original song I have cared about them in recent years was The Dirt. Everything else has been either meh or crap. I did also like their cover of Like a virgin, which I know a lot of peeps didn't like, so it's not like I am just craving the good old days. I would be happy if we could get a song close to Afraid, Saints of Los Angeles or the aforementioned The Dirt. I think songs like that will be few and far between sadly.
    • Have to agree. Although my expectations were that it would be absolutely horrible like Dogs of War lol. Still far away from classic Motley Crue but I at least made it all the way through this one so that's a positive. Still nothing to write home about but at least it rocks fairly well and there's a semblance of a song there.
    • Just ordered!   All three Magic Dance EPs (Another World, Kiss Scene and Haunting Me) combined into one CD. All new artwork, lyric booklet and three bonus tracks. Silver-pressed replication CD.     https://magicdance.bandcamp.com/album/magic-dance-the-eps
