No nu-metal there, mate. 'Hell Yeah' by Rev Theory is by far the best (straight up hard rock) song on all three discs. Red are as metal as a flacid penis.

Side Kixx - 'Talk of the town' ; nice one to get rid of the residue Sevendust left in my ears. 'In the night' is outstanding.

Talisman - 'Truth' ; so much shit on this one... but some nice songs... mostly this one - 'Angel/Devil'

Valor - 'Make it big' and 'Toy soldiers' ; why oh why couldn't these guys just write a few decent hooks/choruses. For a band that had everything (inc. looks and cool sound)... well, almost everything.. Goddamn they were missing good songs in a big way.

Funny that, this was the only album of their's I really liked too but when I played it the other week I thought it sucked. I still thought "Ugly" was a decent song, but it's all pretty dull....
