And I did not watch this, but I caught glimpses last night of 'School of Rock'. I have never been more appalled and without seeing the whole movie I'd call it the worst movie I've ever (partially) seen. What a f*cking heap of shit...

I thought it was fun. I had to laugh and therefore I liked it. But then I'm so much younger than you !

"Lake Placid 2," an extremely silly made-for-SciFi-Channel sequel to a killer-crocodile movie that wasn't all that great to begin with.

Hey, I like the first Lake Placid. Some classic lines in there:

"Maybe later you can chew the bark off my big fat log."

"If I had a dick, this is where I'd tell you to suck it."

Just one of my guilty pleasures, I guess. :)

Jack Black is usually good for a laugh aswell. It's an enjoyable enough movie for what it is.

Yea, the first "L.P." had its moments I guess, (and believe me, this follow up makes it look like "Citizen Kane" by comparison!) but I never could wrap my head around what possessed David E. Kelley, the creator of such chick-TV sludge as "Ally McBeal," to write a killer-creature movie in the first place....

I haven't seen either one in years but I'm sure they've both aged terribly, like most of those slashers have... but they still have a charm about them...

I'm on the lookout for a DVD of the Santa Slasher film "Silent Night Deadly Night" for some holiday viewing... found the trailer for it on YouTube the other day and was like "DAAAAAAMN I gotta see this piece of trash again!" Haha. :drink:

    • It's ok. I think people know I am a massive Crue fan, and I like a lot of stuff by them that people hate (the Generation Swine album for example) but the only newer original song I have cared about them in recent years was The Dirt. Everything else has been either meh or crap. I did also like their cover of Like a virgin, which I know a lot of peeps didn't like, so it's not like I am just craving the good old days. I would be happy if we could get a song close to Afraid, Saints of Los Angeles or the aforementioned The Dirt. I think songs like that will be few and far between sadly.
    • Have to agree. Although my expectations were that it would be absolutely horrible like Dogs of War lol. Still far away from classic Motley Crue but I at least made it all the way through this one so that's a positive. Still nothing to write home about but at least it rocks fairly well and there's a semblance of a song there.
