It would be incredible.

Unfortunately, just about any singer would be an improvement, though.

The two songs showcased here are fabulous tracks, but the vocals are seriously holding them back.

I agree as a one horse race means 

a contest in which one candidate or competitor is clearly superior to all the others and seems certain to win.

It could also mean a horse in a race where it's the only competitor. If it's the only one racing, it's the only one that can win.

 

Now, since these are all opinions, there is no objective superior or inferior.

 

But I'll say this: I don't think Tina Pries has a bad voice. I just don't think her voice lends itself to this kind of melodic rock / AOR type of music. If these tracks were more in the vein of like Crazy Lixx or Joanna Dean kind of thing, I think it would be perfectly fine.
