Two of course come right off the top:

Quiet Riot "Cum On Feel The Noise"

White Lion "Radar Love"

Surely there are more. Great White "Once Bitten Twice Shy" is one too.

One could argue that White Lion had bigger hits than "Radar Love", for instance "Wait", "Little Fighter" and "When the Children Cry"

I never knew "Once Bitten Twice Shy" was a cover, I love that song.

Limp Bizkit - "Behind Blue Eyes"

Presidents of the united states of america - "Video Killed the Radio Star"

Alien Ant Farm - "Smooth Criminal"

"Biggest" hit is questionable but,

Tesla's Little Suzy.

Judas Priests Green Manalishi

Well, I should have put "most popular song" or "song they are known most for".

Disturbed is now best known for "The Sound of Silence."

The Billy Idol one may be contentious, but I think that was his biggest hit.

This is an Australian one hit wonder band from 1987 and that one hit was a cover. I had the 45 of this single and can distinctly remember watching this clip on MTV and buying it. I'm sure the Aussie and British members will recognize the girl in the video. She was in her prime back then. Still on Aussie TV today.

Tesla, "Signs"

Joan Jett - "I Love Rock and Roll"

Disturbed - "Sounds of Silence"

A personal favorite, Jeff Buckley's rendition of "Hallelujah"

Marilyn Manson - "Personal Jesus", "Tainted Love", "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)"

The "Soft Cell" version of "Tainted Love" is also a cover and their biggest hit.

I don't know if these guys had any bigger hits, I don't think they did. Wasn't really a fan. I am however, a big fan of "The Doors".

"The Lost Boys" soundtrack strikes again!

I love Priest's version of Green Manalishi. The original by Fleetwood Mac is also great and Victory do a great version as well. I don't think it's Priest's biggest or most well known hit though.

Some good ones and so far they ring true with at least staple songs for the artists.

Metallica is another with their Diamond Head cover of Am I Evil.

Also makes me think of Jimi Hendrix' cover of the Bob Dylan song All Along The Watchtower.

Metallica's "Stone Cold Crazy" too. But not really their biggest hit.

True and I was also thinking Turn the Page as well. That got a lot of radio play.

    • 'Tis indeed. Will be nice to have it all wrapped up in a sweet, sexy package. Except for the remixes...
    • The EP is the other singles they have released this year plus Heartbeats and a couple of remixes.
    • Jeez this dude seemed to be releasing music once a fortnight not too long ago, but it's been some space between, ay?  This is actually a surprisingly good, big catchy melodic rocker. Didn't expect it - nice stuff.
    • And in the most unsurprising news ever, it's awesome. Love it completely.  And is it mentioned elsewhere that this coincides with the release of a new EP called 'Hope?' https://lebrock.bandcamp.com/album/hope?from=fanpub_nfb
    • Album out March 31. From Lions Pride Music: Stellar Veil is a melodic hard rock band hailing from Athens, Greece. Formed in 2021 by members departing from the Melodic Hard Rock band Hideaway, the group sought to carve a niche that melded the heavier elements of hard rock with the melodic finesse of classic AOR. Their sound is described as heavier than traditional AOR yet more melodic than classic metal (Melodic Hard & Heavy), reflecting a unique blend of influences from the 80s hard rock and heavy metal era with a contemporary twist. Stellar Veil’s music captures the nostalgic essence of 80s hard rock and heavy metal, yet it is infused with a modern approach. Their compositions are characterized by soaring vocals, melodic guitar riffs, and dynamic keyboard arrangements, balanced with a heavier rock attitude. The band aims to offer listeners a blend of the old and new, bridging the gap between the timeless appeal of classic rock and the fresh sounds of contemporary hard rock. With their distinctive blend of melodic and hard-hitting sounds, Stellar Veil is carving out a unique identity in the world of hard rock. Their music is a testament to their passion for rock and their commitment to evolving as artists, making them a band to watch in the coming years. Stellar Veil is: Jon Soti: Vocals  Dimitris Paloudis: Guitars John Kontos: Bass Peter Papadimatos: Keys Harris Freeman: Drums Track list: 1. Safely Chained 2. To Mend A Broken Heart 3. • Cool interview with their lead singer, John Cooper. Bit of a surprise to see this one come up today. I enjoy Zuby's content and have been a subscriber of his channel since around 2020 in my efforts to comfort myself in the fact that I wasn't the only one in the world being completely twilight zoned by covid. But I've found him to be a level-headed, logical dude and apart from being a massive christian (like all the rest of them, lol), I find sense in a lot of what he says.  And I found out along the way that this dude from Skillet (apart, again, from being a massive christian, lol), is like-minded and actually a real stand up dude.  Funny how musically speaking, I'd take Skid Row's music ten days and fifteen back around over Skillet's, but as a human being, I have zero respect for Bach and all the respect in the world for this dude. Anyway, interesting interview and it even touches on Skillet's music more than I thought it would. As for the new album, it's Skillet, again. 100% up and down, just, Skillet.
    • New song 'Ricochet'. From Pride & Joy Music: "Ricochet" is the first single from Mikael Erlandsson's (Autumn's Child) solo album "The Second 1" which will be released world-wide (excl. Japan) on January 24th, 2025 via Pride & Joy Music! Mikael Erlandsson has spanned a long career in the music business and today is a household name when it comes to quality Melodic Rock. Erlandsson was the frontman of the super group Secret Service for 12 years singing their smash hits ”Oh Susie” and ”10 o’clock Postman“ in packed arenas all over the world. The world class singer also released albums with Phenomena, Radioactive, Sapphire Eyes, Heartbreak Radio, Salute, Love Under Cover amongst others but is best known for his work with his own bands ”Last Autumns Dream” (14 albums) and ”Autumn’s Child” (5 albums so far). Autumn’s Child will return with a new release in 2026. Additionally to this, Erlandsson also appeared at the Eurovision Song Contest finals for Sweden, Poland, Denmark and Latvia. The Swedish artist has had a successful solo career as well, which started started with his smash debut album ”The 1”in 1994 that sold enormous copies over the world. Erlandsson to this day released 6 solo albums and now returns with a new one entitled ”The Second 1”. The title is of course aspiring to the fact that it is exactly 30 years since his first soloalbum ”The 1”. Therefore the Swede recorded the real follow-up to his first solo album in the same feel of ”The 1” capturing his own unique style of songwriting. This time, he teamed up with producer Mats M.P. Persson (Roxette) for the mixing & mastering – just as it was for his solo debut 30 years ago! Keyboards & all vocals - Mikael Erlandsson Guitars - Rasmus Ehrnborn & Mikael Erlandsson  Drums - Richard Johnsson Bass - Mats Mp Persson & Martin Olsson
