'Heaven On The Run' and a cover of Carola's 'The Runaway'.

This one sounds exactly like a song from Night Flight Orchestra.  That's a good thing.

"Moonlight" is the second single from the upcoming Gathering Of Kings album "Discovery" which will be released in the first quarter of 2020.

This is the first song you hear Jonny Lindkvist (Nocturnal Rites) in, as a GOK singer.

The song is written by Victor Olsson, lyrics by Victor and Alexander Frisborg. Produced, mixed and mastered by Thomas Plec Johansson (The Panic Room). Vocals recorded by Ronnie Björnström (Enhanced Audio Productions). Drums recorded by Bengan Andersson and Victor Olsson (Nordic Sound Lab).

Executive Producers are the founders and supervisors, Ron Dahlgren and Nina Dahlgren along with songwriter/guitarist/keyboardist Victor Olsson.

Logo & Artwork by: Markus Vesper at Markus Vesper Art.

Jonny Lindkvist (Nocturnal Rites) - Vocals
Victor Olsson (Saffire) - Guitars/Keyboards/Backing Vocals
Nalle Påhlsson (Treat, Easy Action, Therion) - Bass
Efraim Larsson (Rydell & Quick, Streamline) - Drums
Apollo Papathanasio (Spiritual Beggars) - Backing Vocals
Alexander Frisborg (Helldog) - Backing Vocals

The upcoming album will also include Rick Altzi (Masterplan), Tobias Jansson (Saffire) and Jonas Källsbäck (The Night Flight Orchestra) among others.

GATHERING OF KINGS began work on the new album a couple of months after the debut album was released and continues their creative relationship with producer Thomas "Plec" Johansson (SOILWORK, NOCTURNAL RITES, DYNAZTY, THE NIGHT FLIGHT ORCHESTRA).

The debut album "First Mission", was released in January 2019 via RN Records. The album reached #2 on the Swedish charts for physical album sales and #1 on the Hard Rock chart and #1 on the Vinyl chart.

The band is supervised by the founders Ron and Nina Dahlgren, bringing together top musicians from the current hard rock scene in Sweden. Victor Olsson is the main songwriter, with Alexander Frisborg co-writing lyrics on some of them.

The idea was to create something like Tom Galley's Phenomena or even Tobias Sammet's Avantasia, with multiple vocalists and instrumentalists.

Don't mind that at all, if you liked the debut disc this one sounds like a steady progression...if you didn't like it chances are you won't like this :)

Really looking forward to this. I saw them live this summer and I have to say it was amazing.

First Mission is a top notch album and Heaven on the Run and Moonlight promise that the next one will be a belter as well.

The band's new album, Super Fine Sugar, represents a huge leap forward for the hard-hitting quartet. Streetlight Circus showcases the urgent songwriting and soaring vocals of David Shaw, the fiery and passionate guitar work of George Giannoulis, the thunderous drumming of Erik Fehrenbach, and the smooth rhythm guitar work of Alex Rude. What’s more, Streetlight Circus has captured the attention of industry stalwarts who have eagerly participated in the creation of the new album. The band has managed to comfortably fit on bills featuring bands as heavy as Avatar, Anthrax, and Megadeth and as accessible as The Doobie Brothers, Buckcherry, and Night Ranger. In 2018, Streetlight Circus embarked on a successful headlining tour of the United Kingdom taking them from Wales to Scotland and many British points in between. • Checked this out....not too bad but not sure how memorable it'll be. There's a few tunes I thought sounded pretty good after my first listen and do think Ronnie sounds excellent on the album  Songs like Scream and Shot in the Dark both stood out to me a bit.  I thought Last Man Alive sounded decent too. Much of the rest kind of feels like it falls in line with the first 2 singles that were released.  It's kind of heavy which is cool but just not coming off as being that catchy or memorable initially which was sort of my same problem with the last album.   We'll see what happens with more listens.  Here's a link to the whole album:
    • WTF is this, two dudes having an intelligent conversation about a band without relying on easy absolutes. I'm impressed.
